Google reportedly drops plans to make standalone VR headset
Google was expected to be announce a standalone virtual reality (VR) headset at the I/O in May but it didn’t happen. At the I/O conference in May Google announced Daydream platform for high-quality VR experience. Rumors about Google’s upcoming standalone virtual reality (VR) headset started earlier this year. Now Recode is reporting that the company has shut down its internal project to make high-end standalone virtual reality headset. Lenovo Vibe K5 Note launching in India soon
Lenovo is all set to launch the Vibe K5 Note in India soon. It is the successor of the Vibe K4 Note that was launched in the country earlier this year. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen and is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC. It was announced in China earlier this year, but the intentional variant packs 3GB of RAM and is expected to run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) out of the box. LG X Screen with secondary display launching in India on July 18
LG has sent out invites for the launch its X Screen smartphone in the latest X series in India on July 18th. It was announced during the MWC earlier this year and features 1.76-inch ‘Always-on’ second screen, in addition to 4.93-inch HD In-cell Touch display. Asus has announced Zenfone 3 Max and Zenfone 3 Laser at Zenvolution 2016 event in Vietnam yesterday. It has a 4100mAh battery that promises up to 30 days of standby, 20 hours of 3G talk time, 20 hours of web browsing on 4G and 15 hours of video playback. It also has reverse charging support to charge other devices. It has a 5.2-inch HD 2.5D curved glass display with 75% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by a MediaTek MT6737 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with ZenUI on top. It is the international variant of the ZenFone Pegasus 3 that was unveiled in China last month.
