Acer has announced new laptops in its creator-focused Concept D lineup, featuring Pantone-validated displays, 10th Gen Intel Core CPUs and up to NVIDIA Quadro GPU’s. They also announced a new Swift 5 laptop with next Gen Intel Core processors, Intel XE based integrated graphics, NVIDIA MX350 GPUs and long battery life.
Daiwa, an Indian manufacturer of consumer electronics, has launched two new 4K UHD Smart TVs in India – the 65-inch D65QUHD-M10 and the 55inch D55QUHD-M10. They feature Android 9.0, 2GB RAM, dbx-tv audio technology and more.
Facebook launched the comparatively affordable Oculus Go, which functioned as a standalone VR headset with 3DOF (Degrees of Freedom). However, with community feedback, Oculus has decided to discontinue the product, and will focus on developing their Oculus Quest and Rift line of VR headsets.

In what looks like an accidental move, WhatsApp released new animated stickers in the WhatsApp Store in Beta v2.20.194.7. The feature disappeared in a subsequent Beta update v2.20.194.9, suggesting that the feature is still very much in development.

Researchers from the Awake Security Threat team has discovered a global surveillance campaign that uses spyware software via extensions found on the Google Chrome Webstore. These malicious extensions have nearly 33 million downloads and almost all of them used domains that were linked to small registrar in Israel called Galcomm.
