Acer’s upcoming tablet, Iconia A1-810 has been spotted on a french retail site. It has a 7.9-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) IPS  display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a VGA (0.3MP) front-facing camera. Acer launched the Iconia B1 with a 7-inch display and a dual-core Mediatek processor in India earlier this year. Micromax launched the Funbook Talk (P350), a 7-inch tablet with voice calling support last year. Now, the successor, Funbook Talk P360 is now available from online retailer Saholic. Even though this has a similar display and a processor, the new Funbook P360 has a 2-megapixel rear camera, 1GB RAM and a 3000 mAh battery. Micromax Funbook P600 with 3G voice calling and 1 GHz dual-core processor went on sale back in February. Videocon VT75C 7-inch 2G Voice Calling Tablet officially launched for Rs. 6499


Videocon has officially launched the VT75C, the company’s latest budget tablet with 2G support and voice calling capabilities. It went on sale online earlier this week.  Ithas a 7-inch ( 800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen,  1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) .It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It also has 3G support via USB dongle. It has several pre-loaded apps including Saavn, TOI, Facebook, Skype, Diamond Twister, ET News, Movie Studio and more. Google Nexus 7 32GB WiFi and 3G versions launched in India for Rs. 18999 and Rs. 21999


Google Nexus 7 16GB version went on sale in India from the Google Play Store last month at a price tag of Rs. 15,999, which is already being delivered. Asus has launched the 32GB WiFi and 32GB 3G versions of the tablet in India. Google unveiled the Nexus 7 last June, and the 3G version with 32GB storage was announced at the Google I/O in October last year. It has a 7-inch ( 800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) . It has a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. It has 2G voice calling support and data connectivity via SIM card slot, 3G support via USB dongle and packs a 3000 mAh battery. Most of the features in this tablet are similar to the Penta T-Pad WS707C that was launched in February. Sony Xperia Tablet Z LTE version gets a pre-order price in UK

Sony Xperia Tablet Z was announced in Japan earlier this year.  At the MWC 2013 Sony announced that it would roll out globally from Q2 2013. Sony has started taking pre-orders for the Sony Xperia Tablet Z  (SGP321GB) 16GB LTE version. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a 10.1-inch HD (1920 x 1200 pixels) WUXGA Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz asynchronous quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Datawind UbiSlate 7C+ Edge goes on sale for Rs. 5999

Datawind, the company behind the low-cost Aakash tablets launched 4 new 7-inch tablets including the UbiSlate 7C+ back in September 2012. Now the new UbiSlate 7C+ Edge is on sale exclusively from online retailer Snapdeal.com. The UbiSlate 7C+ has a SIM card slot with GPRS support, but the new UbiSlate 7C+ Edge comes with EDGE support. Other features are similar including a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Google Play Store India now sells the 16 GB Nexus 7 for a price of Rs. 15,999

It has been a while since we saw the Google Nexus 7 *officially* launch in India for Rs. 19,999/- but now, out of the blue, we have got the devices page on the Indian Google Play Store selling the Nexus 7 directly for Rs. 15,999 for the 16 GB version. Earlier, it was Croma, the Tata retailer that was selling it, but looks like we are finally seeing Google directly selling the device.

Asus Padfone Infinity launching in Taiwan this week


Asus Padfone Infinity that was announced last month in MWC 2013 would be launched in Taiwan on 26th March, according to a recent report from Central News Agency. The Padfone Infinity is the third device in the Padfone series, which follows the similar design as the first two Padfone devices. It lets you dock the phone in the Padfone station, which can be docked in a keyboard. The Padfone Infinity packs a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display, powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Lava to launch 7-inch Tablet with 3G, Voice calling soon

Lava Mobiles has announced that it would launch their first tablet with 3G and Voice calling support soon. Lava launched the E-Tab XTRON, the company’s first Android tablet running Android 4.1 last month, but it lacked a SIM card slot and voice calling capabilities. The upcoming E-Tab would come with both these features, but it would run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) instead of Jelly Bean.
