Google adds Android L support and new features to Docs and Sheet

Google has been updating Drive with various features since last week. First it allowed the ability to edit Microsoft Office files and offline supports for Docs, Sheets and Slides. Also, the Drive app for Android got an update with revamped UI and more. Today, Google has made Docs and Sheet app compatible with recently announced Android L. The move comes from Google just two days after discontinuing QuickOffice from Play Store.

This was published by LINE in Japan last year and holds the number 1 free app spot on both iOS and Android in Japan. Asus has released the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for the Padfone 2, the company’s second Padfone device that was launched back in 2012, as it promised earlier this year. The KitKat update also brings new Asus ZenUI 1.1 with a new user interface. The ZenUi brings clean layout, flat icons, new color themes, animations, new ringtone and notification tones. HTC software update roadmap surfaces

HTC One series got Android 4.4 (KitKat) update with Sense 5.5 earlier this year. The HTC One, its dual SIM variant and the HTC One Max got the Sense 6 update few weeks back. Recently HTC ROM developer @LlabTooFeR posted the roadmap of future Android updates for HTC smartphones. Google released developer preview of Android L for Nexus 5 and the Nexus 7 (2013) yesterday. This includes some popular apps and games under different categories such as Fun, Travel and Remote Office apps. There are 31 app in the list, and these are usually priced between US$0.99 and US$ 9.99. All you need to do is just get the Amazon App Store from here and sideload it on your Android device. Google announced several updates and enhancements to Drive at the I/O developer conference. For starters, users can edit Microsoft Office files through the cloud-based platform.
