SwiftKey Flow for Android with gliding input and real-time prediction coming soon

SwiftKey has started teasing their new Keyboard, SwiftKey Flow for Android. The SwiftKey Flow would offer continuous gliding input with real-time prediction. This automatically predicts the word based on the movement of your finger. The concept of the SwiftKey Flow looks just like Swype, but it adds the prediction of the SwiftKey that predicts the next word in a sentence. Flipboard for Android updated with Audio support and performance improvements

Flipboard for Android finally gets Audio support along with the Sound Cloud integration with the latest version 1.9.7 update. Flipboard for iPhone and iPad got audio support back in May, but the first official version of Flipboard for Android that launched did not have the audio support. The new update finally brings audio support from SoundCloud and radio programming from NPR and Public Radio International (PRI) that lets you explore the new Audio category in the new content guide while reading their Flipboard. Facebook for Android v1.9.11 update brings Faster photo tagging and Album selection for photo uploads

Facebook for Android has been updated to version 1.9.11 that brings Faster photo tagging which lets you tag a photo just by tapping on it and option to choose an album when you are uploading a photo by clicking the album icon. Google Calendar app for Android released on the Google Play Store

Google has finally released the Google Calender app on the Google Play Store for the devices running on 4.0.3 or later. This app was previously available only on the Nexus S and the Galaxy Nexus devices. This would let you sync the Google calendar to the Android devices, create, edit and delete events and also respond to invitations. Dropbox for Android v2.2 update brings new Photos tab

Dropbox for Android has been updated to version 2.2 that brings new features including a new Photos tab that lists your uploaded photos and videos, including photos uploaded from other devices. The new Photos tab lets you view the uploaded media in a thumbnail view to share or download them easily. These photos are also listed according to the uploaded date. Nokia Xpress(beta), a cloud optimized browser that saves data & a lot more, now available for Lumia

Nokia has been toying around with a browser that compresses pages on the server side to save data consumption  for its S40 range of devices for quite a while now. The Nokia browser, as it was called when it launched, had similar functionality to the Opera Mini web browser, it saved data and made browsing much faster by compressing images and using some server side algorithms for data compression. Now, the same technology is coming to all of Nokia’s Windows Phone devices, the Lumia device range, and it is called Nokia Xpress, but alas, it carries the beta tag, for now.
