Gionee has released the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for its Elife E3 smartphone in India. Along with the Android 4.4′s features such as wireless printing, support for emojis and more, this update brings a new homescreen layout, Touchpal, Kingsoft Office and more, similar to other smartphones. It has also added nine Indian languages. Gionee released KitKat update for its M2 smartphone back in September. LG just announced that it would start rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update for its flagship LG G3 smartphone this week starting from Poland. This would be followed by other key markets in future, said the Korean giant. Roll out details will be announced when it becomes available in local markets. HERE Maps for Android was launched as beta last month. The app has been updated to version 1.0.220 that brings support for Android 5.0 (Lollipop). This update also brings fixes to downloaded voice files that will not be cleared if the phone’s cache is wiped using a cleaner, as it promised.
