Hathway has unveiled a new OTT set-top box and a cable hybrid box and the newly introduced boxes will be available to the local cable operators from 15 October and consumer registrations will start by November 1st. The OTT set-top box is based on Google’s Android TV and the remote carries a dedicated YouTube, Netflix and Google Play button. It also features voice-enabled Google assistant and inbuilt Chromecast. HMD Global just announced the Nokia 7.1, the company’s latest mid-range Android One smartphone, after it surfaced recently. The main highlight of the phone is its 5.84-inch Full HD+  19:9 screen with a notch, 80% screen-to-body ratio, has support for HDR and also supports SD to HDR real-time conversion. With HDR10 support; 1 million: 1 dynamic contrast ratio; 500-million pixels processed per second providing smooth and accurate HDR video.The display also adapts to indoor and bright outdoor sunlight. The company calls it PureDisplay. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) but the company has promised Android 9.0 (Pie) update . Xiaomi teams up with Dixon Technologies to manufacture Mi LED TVs in India

After rumors, Xiaomi today announced that it has tied up with homegrown consumer electronics contract manufacturer Dixon Technologies for ‘Make in India’ Mi TV. The plant is located in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, spread across 32 acres and employs around 850 people. The factory will result in a production capacity of 100,000 Mi LED TVs per month by Q1 2019.

Apple iPhone XS Max has one of the ‘best mobile cameras’: DxOMark

DxOMark is out with iPhone XS Max camera review rating it as one of the best with a score of 105.
