Millennium Telesystems Private Limited has launched 7-inch Millennium tablets powered by the 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processors in India. These come with a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, have a 2-megapixel rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera. The Millennium MT701 has WiFi connectivity and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) and the Millennium M7 is a 3G tablet with SIM support and voice calling capabilities that runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Facebook Rooms anonymous app for iPhone now available in India

Facebook released Room, an anonymous chat app for iPhone last month in the US, UK and few other English speaking countries. The app developed by Facebook Creative Labs team is now available for users in India. It has also been updated with support for three new languages – Spanish, French and German. The app lets you create rooms for the things you’re into, and invite others. You can add text, photos, videos and more.You can also add a cover photo, change colors, create custom pinned messages, customize member permissions, and more. Xolo has reduced the price of five smartphones – Q1010i, Opus HD, Q700s Plus, Q500s IPS and A500s Lite. The Xolo Q1010i was launched back in April for Rs. 13499. Now the smartphone is available for Rs. 9,999. The main highlight of the smartphone is its 8-megapixel camera with Sony Exmor R sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 1.4 micron pixel size and a 5-element lens. Xolo has announced Q710s, the company’s latest smartphone in the Q CORE series. It has the same 1.3 GHz Quad-core Mediatek MT6582M processor, 1GB of RAM, Dual SIM support and a 8-megapixel rear camera, similar to the Xolo Q700S that was launched earlier this year, but the Q710s comes with a 4.5-inch qHD display instead of FWVGA display on the Q700S and runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat). Uber has announced that it has expanded its service to Kochi in India. Uber is growing rapidly in India by adding new cities every few months. It was initially launched in India starting from Bangalore back in August 2013 and later expanded to New Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Pune. It was launched in Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Kolkata in India simultaneously back in August, earlier this year. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G with Snapdragon 400 SoC announced in India for Rs. 9999, available late December

At the Xiaomi Redmi Note launch event, the company has announced that the Redmi Note 4G would be launching in India soon. This has support for TD-LTE 2300MHz (Band 40) and FDD-LTE 1800MHz (Band 3) for India and is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, instead of Octa-Core MediaTek chip in the 3G variant. This has single SIM support, unlike the dual SIM 3G variant. It comes pre-loaded with Fleksy and SwiftKey keyboards. Mi India announced the Redmi Note smartphone in India at the Mi 3 launch event back in July. Today at an event in Delhi, the company has announced that the smartphone would go on sale at Rs. 8999 on Flipkart starting December 2nd. It would be a flash sale similar to the Mi 3 and the Redmi 1S, and the registrations for the sale would begin tomorrow, November 25th at 6PM. This is Rs. 1,000 lesser than the price Xiaomi announced last month, just like it did for the Mi3 and the Redmi 1S smartphones. There is a separate chartered plane to bring Redmi Note units later this week. This is the fourth time the company is bringing units from China to India using a chartered plane. Apple iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 now available for pre-order in India

Apple announced the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 last month. It even announced the pricing for these models in India immediately after the announcement. Now both the tablets are available for pre-order from online retailers Flipkart and Infibeam.
