Nokia Lumia 625 up for online pre-order in India for Rs. 19499


The Nokia Lumia 925 went on sale in India from the official Nokia Store last week. Now the Lumia 625 is available for pre-order from online retailer Flipkart in India. The Lumia 625 was unveiled last month and packs a 4.7-inch  (800 x 480 pixels) LCD display, which is the largest screen on a Lumia phone till date. The display also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protectiont and Super Sensitive Touch. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8930 processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS with the latest Amber update. Vodafone India announces Drive into the Big League 3 contest for SMEs

Vodafone has announced Vodafone Drive into the Big League contest for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). This is the third season of the contest for the third Indian Grand Prix that would be held in Delhi from October 25 to 27, 2013. This would offer an opportunity for small and medium enterprises to take center stage with their logo on Vodafone McLaren Mercedes racing cars. Vodafone says they had overwhelming response for the second season in which Sequel Logistics Private Limited won and had its logo on the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes cars during Indian Grand Prix 2012. Intex Cloud X4 and Cloud Y2 with Android 4.2 launched for Rs. 4590 and Rs. 6190

Intex has launched two new phones in the Cloud series, the Intex Cloud X4 and the Cloud Y2. The Cloud X4 is the successor of the Cloud X3 that was launched last month. Most the specifications are similar to the Cloud X3 including a 3.5-inch display and a 1 GHz dual-core processor, but this has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera instead of the 2MP camera. It  also comes with a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The Cloud Y2 packs a 4-inch (480 x 800 pixels) display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor. It comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Both these phones runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS and has 3G support.

Celkon has launched the Campus A20, the company’s latest smartphone in the new Campus series. It has a 4-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core  processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It has Dual SIM support with 3G on one SIM and 2G on the other and packs a 1500 mAh battery. It was announced back in May and packs a 4.5-inch (1280 × 768 pixels)Pure Motion HD+ Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen ClearBlack display, powered by  a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 with the Amber update that adds glance screen and other new features. It packs a 8.7MP auto focus rear camera with 6 element lens, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), dual LED flash and 1080p HD video recording at 30fps. Nokia Pro Camera that is present in the Lumia 1020  is now available for the Lumia 925.

It  has a 4.3-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels)  Super AMOLED display with scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla glass protection, powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). This would let 2G pre-paid customers enjoy 1947 MB of 2G data on recharge of Rs. 32. This offer is available to all GSM pre-paid customers on 2G network. Usually the Rs. 32 pack offers just 600 MB of data. Other operators are yet to announce their Independence Day offers.
