LG launched the G Flex, the company’s first smartphone with a curved display in India yesterday. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier today, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.27 GHz with Adreno 330 GPU, similar to the LG G2 and the Nexus 5. Rightware launchedthe Basemark OS II cross-platform benchmarking tool for Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows Phone 8 earlier this week, here we have the benchmark comparison . Even though it uses OpenGL ES2 for Android and iOS devices and DirectX 11 for Windows Phone 8, it runs all tests with the same code in the same language and engine centralizes all user-interface elements in its internal rendering module, to make the benchmark reliable among operating systems. Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Benchmarks

Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 (G7102), the company’s latest mid-range smartphone last month, which went on sale in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the device. Samsung already confirmed that the phone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon processor, as you can see from the CPU-Z shot above it is clear that phone has a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1.19 GHz with Adreno 305 GPU, similar to the Motorola Moto G. Last year’s Galaxy Grand was powered by a dual-core Broadcom BCM28155 processor. It has a 5.25-inch (1280 x 720 Pixels) display and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top. Let’s find out how the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 performs in a range of synthetic benchmark tests. Xolo launched the Q3000, the company’s first smartphone with a full HD display last month. We already brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It packs a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display, but it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU, similar to the Q1000S. Spice Smart Flo Mettle 5x -14

The Spice Smart Flo Mettle 5x is a budget device that brings a large screen experience at a very attractive price point. The phone is powered by a 1.3Ghz Dual Core MT6572 processor paired with 512MB of RAM. You get a 5 inch display with a resolution of  480 x 854. We weren’t too impressed by the day to day performance of the device and noticed more than a few lags. LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition Benchmarks

Google and LG partnered to launch the LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Edition back in December last year. We already unboxed the tablet, here we have the benchmarks of the tablet. It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz with Adreno 320 GPU and packs 2GB of LPDDR2 RAM, similar to the global variant of the LG G Pad 8.3. It has a 8.3-inch Full HD IPS WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). Let’s see how it performs in various synthetic benchmark tests. Since Google has optimized the processor to use the minimal use of CPU cores when the phone is idle, some benchmark might not show the correct scores.

Samsung Galaxy Star Pro Benchmarks

Samsung launched the Galaxy Star Pro, the successor of the Galaxy Star back in October. We already unboxed the device earlier this week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Star Pro packs a 1 GHz single-core Spreadtrum SC6820 processor based on ARM Cortex A5 CPU and has Mali 400 GPU. The phone has a 4.0-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) display and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) OS with Samsung’s own Touchwiz UI on top. Since this is just an entry-level chip, the performance would obviously be just average. Let’s find out how it performs in a range of synthetic benchmark tests.

The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Broadcom BCM21664T processor based on ARM Cortex-A9 CPU and VideoCore 4 GPU. The chip supports 3G HSPA+ connectivity up to 21 Mbps.  It has a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels) capacitive touch screen display at 233 ppi pixel density. Xolo launched the A600, a mid-range smartphone in the A series last month. We brought you the unboxing recently, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572W processor with Mali 400MP GPU. It comes with a 4.5-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display at 245 ppi, runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and packs 512MB of RAM. LG announced the G Flex, the company’s first smartphone with a curved display last month. We already brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone.  The device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.27 GHz with Adreno 330 GPU, similar to the LG G2 and the Nexus 5. Both the Xperia Z1 and the Z Ultra with the Snapdragon 800 chip were clocked at 2.15 GHz. Even though this one is slightly undercloked than the original chip that is clocked at 2.3 GHz, benchmarks are almost similar.
