Spice Coolpad Mi-515 Benchmarks


Spice launched the Coolpad Mi-515 few weeks back. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. It has a 5-inch qHD (960 × 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589M processor with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU similar to the Xolo Q700. iBall  has launched the Slide 3G 9728,  a new tablet in the Slide Performance series. It has a 9.7-inch (1024 x 768 pixels) 10 point multi-touch display, powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 5-megapixel auto focus camera on the back and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with SIM card support that offers 3G data connectivity and voice calling. The company launched the Slide Q9703 with 9.7-inch (2048 x 1536 pixels) HD IPS multi-touch retina display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor back in May. This uses binaural beat technology that play two different sound frequencies in left and right ears to change the brain waves to mimic the time when you are asleep. LG Optimus G Pro Benchmarks

LG launched the Optimus G Pro in India yesterday at a price tag of Rs. 42,500 (MRP). We got hold of the device to run some benchmarks. The device has a 5.5 inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display, powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7 GHz with Adreno 320 GPU clocked at 400 MHz and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Datawind to pre-install CricHQ cricket scoring app on UbiSlate tablets

Datawind, the company behind the popular low-cost Aakash tablet has announced a partnership with CricHQ, global cricket technology company. With this partnership, Datawind would be pre-installing the CricHQ app on all their Ubislate tablets. This app would let the users get the latest cricket scores, watch training videos and receive live ball-by-ball updates. The UbiSlate tablets come pre-loaded with NCERT e-books. MEGA acquires third-party app, launches official Android app

MEGA, cloud storage service from the former Megaupload creator Kim Dotcom has got its first Android app. This app was manged by a third-party developer and MEGA has acquired it, gave it a redesign, fixed some bugs and launched it in the Play Store. The version 1.0.2 update also bring better camera sync,  option to select any folder on the device and several improvements. MEGA offers 50GB of free storage. Sony Mobile rolls out my Xperia remote security service globally

Sony has announced that they have started rolling out free remote security service called my Xperia for Xperia devices globally. Sony rolled it out starting from Nordic countries back in January 2013. Now after several months of beta testing and tweaks, the app has been graduated to stable version. This would let the Xperia users find the device remotely when it is lost, protect private information by locking the device or delete all the information on the device. Cleartrip for Android v3.0 update brings train ticket booking and PNR status check

Earlier this year Cleartrip refreshed its Android app with a redesigned user interface, Smart Home page, Split Screen Search, offline support and lots more new features. Within few month Cleartrip has released a version 3.0 update for Android that now lets you book your train tickets directly from the app.  They don’t charge a service fee for booking train tickets, so it’s exactly as the cost you pay while booking it from IRCTC online. Similar to the Cleartrip online train ticket booking, one-time sync is required between your Cleartrip and IRCTC accounts. Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand Duos in India earlier this year. The Galaxy Grand Quattro is the latest mid-range Android smartphone from Samsung that was launched back in May. We reviewed the Galaxy Grand Duos few months back and the Grand Quattro last month. Both these are mid-range smartphone with a similar design, but both these are powered by different chips and have different camera modules. Now let us compare both these phones.

HTC One S will not get Android 4.2 or Sense 5, confirms HTC

HTC has confirmed that it would upgrade the HTC One S will not receive further Android OS updates and will remain on the current version of Android and HTC Sense, according to a report from the Engadget. HTC confirmed the Android 4.1 update for the HTC One X and the One S last year that rolled out for these devices at the end of last year. The Android 4.1.1 update for these devices brought Sense 4+.
