Gaana v2.0 for iPhone brings Gaana+ premium service and more

Gaana for iPhone 2.0

Times Internet has released Gaana 2.0 app for iPhone that brings lot of new features including Gaana+ premium feature that would let you enjoy offline and ad-free music listening. This update also brings better search, multi-bit rate music streaming and more. Gaana Music app for Android, iPhone, BlackBerry and Java phones were released earlier this year, and the Gaana app for Windows Phone was launched last month. Saavn launched a similar Saavn Pro premium music service for iPhone recently.

New features in Gaana 2.0 for iPhone

  • Better search: we’ve made significant improvements to search, making it easier and faster to find your favorite songs, artists, albums, and playlists
  • Multi-bit rate streaming: you can now choose the quality that your music streams
  • Improved MyZone: instant access to the playlists you make and the ones you’ve favorited, always one-click away
  • Option to see what you’re friends are listening to and Radio Gaana.

Gaana+ features

  • Offline music:  Download your favorite playlists to your phone, and listen without any internet connection
  • High bit rate:  Stream music at 128kbps and download music at 320kbps, practically CD-quality
  • No Ads:  You don’t see ads anywhere

Download Gaana for iPhone from the Apple iTunes Store for free. Gaana+ feature would be available for free for 14 days as a promotional offers, after that it costs $2.99 per month (for India) or $3.99 (outside India). Android app with premium Gaana+ features would be available soon.
