Micromax has launched the Canvas Nitro A310, the company’s latest smartphone in the Canvas series. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It features a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has new camera features such as option to capture images, including selfies by pressing the volume rocker, a Camera Widget to access several camera features easily from the homescreen, Stable Shot, Refocus and more. LG G3 Beat that was unveiled back in July, now the smartphone is available for pre-order in India from Infibeam. It packs a 5-inch HD display with a screen-to-body ratio of 74.1%, powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with new flat UI.

Oppo N1 Mini is the company’s latest camera-centric smartphone with a 206-degree swivel camera that was launched in India last month. It has the same 13 Megapixel camera with 1/3.06″ Sony EXMOR RS sensor, six-element lens and an aperture of f2.0 that we had seen on the Oppo N1. It has a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touchscreen IPS display, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, similar to the Andi 4.5D Royale that was launched earlier this year, but this runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Motorola launched the new Moto G in India yesterday priced at Rs. 12,999, it is now on sale on Flipkart, as it promised at the launch. Sony announced the SmartWatch 3 powered by Android Wear at the IFA, Berlin 2014 yesterday. We got our hands on the SmartWatch3 SWR50 which is company’s foray into Android Wear. The device sports a 1.6-inch (320 x 320 pixels) TFT LCD capacitive touch screen display.
