Introduction

When Google announced the Nexus 6, there were two main issues that customers complained about. One was the pricing which was unusually high for a Nexus phone and secondly its size. The device housed a 6 inch display and made it one of the biggest phones on the market. While phablets are getting more and more in demand these days, 6 inch is still considered to be quite big unless you’ve bezels as slim as LG has managed on their G2/G3 and the Sharp Crystal series. That is why most manufacturers such as Samsung haven’t gone beyond 5.5” or 5.7” for their phablets fearing it may be deemed too large.

Lenovo A6000 is not discontinued in India, will be back in stock soon

Lenovo A6000 went out of stock recently, and the Lenovo A6000 page on Flipkart said that the product has permanently been discontinued. Lenovo has clarified to NDTV Gadgets that it has not discontinued the smartphone in India and the stocks will be back soon, but the time frame of the availability is not known yet. The app currently helps protect data on phone, including media files (photos and videos) and text messages, bank account/credit card details and identity cards (driving licence, passport, etc. Privy Point was developed through a crowd sourcing platform for users giving them the power to choose the features they would want in the app. Privy Point also makes itself inconspicuous by disguising as an innocuous app like calendar or calculator, that is also password protected, making it difficult for anyone to identify the app.

The Privy Point application has been certified by Valency Networks. It is available Google Play store or the Privy Point website.

Lenovo A6000 discontinued in India after selling 3 lakh units? [Update]

Lenovo launched the A6000 smartphone in India back in January this year. It started selling the smartphone in flash sales exclusively on Flipkart every week from January end. Today the company launched the A7000, successor of the A6000 in India at a price tag of Rs. 8,999. Lenovo has launched the A7000 smartphone in India, as expected. It was unveiled at the MWC 2015 earlier this month, packs a 5.5-inch HD screen, 1.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752M 64-bit processor, Android 5.0 (Lollipop), 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. LG releases first G4 video teaser showing its F 1.8 camera

LG Mobile has released the first teaser video for its upcoming LG G4 smartphone. It also reveals that the camera will have f/1.8 aperture, offering better low light performance. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge’s 16-megapixel camera have f/1.9 aperture and the HTC One M9‘s 20-megapixel camera has f/2.2 aperture. The LG G3 has a f/2.4 lens. The company did not reveal the sensor size or the maker of the camera sensor yet. According to earlier leaks it is expected to feature a 16-megapixel rear camera.
