Instagram is bringing couple of photo editing tools for its Android app. The latest creative tools- Color and Fade, will let users customize their photos by adjusting the color tones.

First up is Color tool that allows you to add some tint to your photos. Users can include some hues, highlights, shadows or both to their photos. Available colors include yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, blue, cyan and green. On the other hand the Fade tool will bring quiet tone to your photos by softening the color. Similar to other tools in the adjust menu, fade comes with a slider that allow you to control the strength of the effect. Both the new editing tools, fade and color, appear in the Instagram’s adjust menu.

Instagram’s competitor VSCO Cam already offers these two features for a long time. In addition, to the customization tools, the update also adds the ability to subscribe to posts from users you follow. The menu button in the top right corner now gets an option to “Turn on Post Notifications” that when enabled, will send push notifications each time the users you follow share a new post. In February this year, Instagram added looping videos while last year in December, it brought five new filters to Android and iPhone apps.

Instagram for Android version 6.19.0 is available for download on Google Play Store and the Facebook owned photo sharing site said that these features will come to iOS version 6.10.0 in a few days.
