Micromax A35 Bolt with 1 GHz processor, Flash Transfer launched for Rs. 4250

Micromax has launched the A35 Bolt, the first Android smartphone in the new Bolt series. It has a 4.0-inch (480 x 800 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display. It is powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It comes with a new Flash Transfer app to swipe ‘n’ share images, videos, songs, files and applications with just a swipe. Users can drag content across the screen or simply shake and share seamlessly between Android devices over WiFi. Google Search for Android updated with Google Now widgets, New cards

Google has updated the Google Search app for Android devices running on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). This update brings the most expected Google Now widgets for the home screen and lock screen. This update also brings new cards such as movie cards with latest ratings from Rotten Tomatoes, Fandango movie pass with reminder and more. Micromax A116 Canvas HD gets priced at Rs. 13990

Micromax has announced that the A116 Canvas HD would be priced at Rs. 13990. It would go on sale tomorrow from the official site as they announced last week. Micromax unveiled the A116 Canvas HD with a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display and a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor last month.The phone runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and packs a 8MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. Foursquare for Android updated with new check-in screen, easier Explore and more

Foursquare for Android has received a major update (v2013-02-12) that brings easier explore features, a new slide out drawer to access your Profile & History, To-Do List and more, instead of bottom buttons and a new Maps in the home screen that shows your friends near by. The new check-in screen and check-in insights that were released for the Foursquare app for the iPhone back in December are now available for Android. MTV Volt with 6-inch display, Android 4.1 launched for Rs. 12999

MTV has partnered with SWIPE Telecom to launched a co-branded phablet, the MTV Volt in India. It has a 6-inch (854 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has an inbuilt TV-player that offers on-the-go access to MTV and FM Radio with FM Transmitter. This would compete with Byond Phablet PIII and the Karbonn A30 that were launched back in December. Google Nexus 10 Review

Google announced the Nexus 10, their first 10-inch Android tablet at the end of October, and we unboxed it earlier. The Phablet PIII that was launched back in December had a 6-inch FWVGA display, but the Phablet PII comes with a 5.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD 5-point multi touch capacitive screen IPS display. It is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 3MP front-facing camera for video chats. Micromax A27 Ninja with 3.5-inch display, 1 GHz processor now available for Rs. 3399

The Micromax A27 Ninja that surfaced on the official site few days back is now on sale from online retailer Saholic. It has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has a unique Swipe ‘n’ Share feature that lets you share apps, games, photos, videos, songs & more with other Android devices with just a swipe. It has a 0.3 MP (VGA) camera at the back, but this phone does come with 3G support similar to the Micromax A65 Smarty 4.3 that went on sale last month. LG has officially announced the Optimus L Series II devices, the Optimus L3 II, the Optimus L5 II and the Optimus L7 II. LG unveiled the Optimus L3, L5 and the L7 at the MWC 2012 last year and sold more than 10 million L Series devices in the first 10 months. The new L Series II has new design elements such as Seamless Layout, Laser Cut Contour, Radiant Rear Design and Smart LED Lighting on the home button. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311 now available for Rs. 13900


Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 311, , Wi-Fi variant of the Galaxy Tab 2 310 is finally on sale from the official Samsung eStore. The pre-bookings for the tablet started last month. The 3G variant, Galaxy Tab 2 310 was announced back in February 2012, and launched in India in May. Other than the 3G support voice calling, other features are similar to the Tab 2 310 including a 7-inch (1024×600) PLS TFT LCD display, 1GHz dual-core processor, 3MP fixed focus rear-facing camera and VGA front-facing camera.
