This is the second season of the contest for the second Indian Grand Prix that would be held in Delhi from October 26 to 28, 2012. This would offer an opportunity for small and medium enterprises to take center stage with their logo on Vodafone McLaren Mercedes racing cars. Vodafone has officially announced its new 3G data plans. Vodafone reduced its 3G tariffs for pre-paid customers last month, but the plans were not clear. Later they announced post-paid 3G plans that were applicable only in select circles. These new plans start from Rs. 25 for 25 MB data usage and go up to Rs. 1599 for 12 GB of data usage. Vodafone has reduced the price of their 3G plans for post-paid customers as well. They launched new 3G plans for pre-paid customers last week. Rs. 100 plan now offers 300MB of 3G data usages similar to the new pre-paid plan. Rs. 200 plans offers 500MB and the Rs. 375 plan now offers 1.5GB of 3G data that was previously 1GB. Nokia has announced that have partnered with Vodafone India and Airtel to offer integrated billing solutions on the Nokia Store in India. They partnered with Reliance to introduce operator billing on Nokia Store last year. This would let users download local and global paid content from the Nokia Store and pay for their downloads as part of their monthly mobile phone bills or have the amount deducted from the pre-paid balance. Almost 4 years ago, LTE (Long Term Evolution) was launched and right now it’s available in several parts of the world, and it’s available in USA via Verizon and AT&T. Now LTE is finally arrived in Europe as Vodafone Germany commercially launched it in Düsseldorf, Germany – Along with Europe’s first ever device known as HTC Velocity 4G (HTC Vivid 4G), and it will be available earlier next month. LTE will be available in all over Germany by late 2012, covering 90% of the country, and they hope to reach 16 million households.
