India smartphone market records 12% YoY decline in Q3 2021, shipped 48 million units: IDC

The International Data Corporation (IDC) has released their quarterly India smartphone market report for the third quarter of 2021. According to it, the market declined 12% YoY after 4 quarters of continuous growth, shipping a total of 48 million units. The top 5 manufacturers were Xiaomi, Samsung, vivo, realme and OPPO.

TECNO Spark 8 with 6.56-inch display, Helio G25, 5000mAh battery launched in India for Rs. 9299

TRANSSION India has launched new TECNO Spark 8, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Spark series, couple of months after the launch of the with the same name. It has a 6.52-inch HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio display, is powered by MediaTek Helio G25 processor with 3GB of RAM, packs a 16-megapixel rear camera along with an AI lens. OnePlus Student Ambassador Program 2021: 25 ambassadors selected from 24000 applications

OnePlus India today announced that it has onboarded its 25 new ambassadors as part of its ongoing fourth edition of OnePlus student ambassador program (SAP). Vi, Nokia achieve over 100Mbps speed beyond 17km in rural 5G trial

Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL), in partnership with Nokia, announced that it has successfully conducted 5G trial in rural area in Gandhinagar in Gujarat using 3.5GHz spectrum band allocated by the Government for 5G trials.
