It packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display based on one-glass-solution technology, powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592T processor with Mali 450 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, PureCel sensor, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. Xolo launched the 8X-1000, the company’s latest smartphone with HIVE UI today for Rs. 13,999. Xolo Play 8X-1200, another top-end smartphone has been listed on the official website. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display based on one-glass-solution technology, powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592T processor with Mali 450 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), but this doesn’t have HIVE UI like the 8X-1000.

Earlier this week we reported that Xolo would launch its Play 8X-1000 smartphone with HIVE UI in the first week of August. The company has just sent out press invites for the HIVE event. Even though the invite did not mention any details about the smartphone, the company already confirmed that Play 8X-1000 would be its first smartphone with HIVE UI. Xolo started teasing about their Hive UI last month. Today the company has announced on their Facebook page that it would launch a new smartphone called 8X-1000 with HIVE UI in the first the first week of August, when answering queries about the HIVE UI. Xolo launched the Play 6X-1000 with Hexa-Core MediaTek MT6591 Soc. The 8X-1000 would be the first smartphone to feature its HIVE UI, but it would be ported to other Xolo devices in future, says the company. In a surprising incident, a customer who had ordered Windows Phone powered Xolo Q900s has received an Android variant of the same device from Flipkart. Xolo unveiled the Android version of the Q900s last week almost a month after launching a Windows model of the same variant.

Xolo launched the Win Q990s, it’s first Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone last month as the lightness Windows Phone 8 smartphone. Today the company has unveiled the Android variant of the smartphone called Q900s. It has a 4.7-inch qHD display instead of 4.7-inch HD display on the Win Q900s and this runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) that is upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat). Xolo has unveiled the A700s, the company’s latest smartphone in the A series and the successor of last year’s A700. It has a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touchscreen IPS display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek 6572 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It is not clear if the smartphone would get the KitKat update. It has a 5MP rear camera with LED Flash, 720p HD video recording and a 0.3 (MP) VGA front-facing camera.
