Xiaomi Redmi Y3 with 6.26-inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 632, 32MP front camera launched in India starting at Rs. 9999

Xiaomi just launched the Redmi Y3, the company’s latest budget selfie-focused smartphone and the successor of last year’s Redmi Y2 in India as it had promised. It has a 6.26-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display, is powered by Snapdragon 632 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 10 and features a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 2-megapixel camera for capturing depth information in portrait shots and AI scene detection, similar to the Redmi 7, but this comes with a 32-megapixel camera on the front with 4-in-1 pixel binning technology, AI portraits and AI face unlock. Xiaomi Mi ART TV with 65-inch 4K HDR screen, 13.9 mm slim metal frame announced

Along with its new TV lineup, Xiaomi also introduced its first ART TV or Mural TV at its event. It uses Samsung’s 65-inch 4K HDR panel with flat back and 13.9mm anodized aluminum frame that blends in your home showing art work from 45 artists in 22 genres  when ‘Art Mode’ is on or you can customize it with personalized pictures, family portraits or other images. Xiaomi introduces E32A 32-inch HD, E43A 43-inch FHD, E55A 55-inch and E65A 65-inch 4K HDR full-screen Smart TVs

Xiaomi just announced its 2019 lineup of smart TVs in the E-Series that includes E32A 32-inch HD, E43A 43-inch FHD, E55A 55-inch and E65A 65-inch 4K HDR TVs. All these come with Bluetooth voice remote control, PatchWall interface and are powered by quad-core 64-bit processors. These have full-screen TVs have screen-to-body ratio since these have customized full-screen panel that combines the screen and the middle frame. These come with a metal stand.

Xiaomi Redmi Y3 with 32MP selfie camera, splash-resistant body launching in India on Amazon on April 24 [Update: New teaser]

Update: Xiaomi has posted new teaser that shows the rainbow effect on the back that has tiny patterns. It also reveals dual rear cameras and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. The teaser video shows the durability of the phone.

Xiaomi Redmi 7 expected to launch in India alongside Redmi Y3 on April 24

We already know that the Redmi Y3, selfie-focused smartphone with a 32-megapixel front will launch in India on April 24th. Now the company has posted that it has shipped 7 million Y series smartphones since the launch, and also said that it has more surprises lined up at the launch hinting at number 7, so the company could launch the  Redmi 7 alongside.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 goes on open sale in India

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 7 smartphone in India starting at Rs. 9999 in February, and the phone went on sale starting from March 6th. After six weeks of weekly sale, the company today started selling the phone through open sale on Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home stores.

Xiaomi has finally released the list of smartphones eligible for Android Pie/Oreo update, these devices are supposed to get Android Pie/Oreo update sometime before Q2 2019. Xiaomi has mentioned that the smartphones which have already received two major Android updates are unlikely to receive further Android updates. The list of smartphones eligible to receive Android update includes both Mi and Redmi range of smartphones.
