Samsung has rolled out a new update for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge smartphones in India that brings stability improvements and bug fixes and further improvements to the performance, in addition to performance improvements rolled out in the update back in August. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 (MSM8976) 64-bit 28nm processor that has four ARM Cortex A72 cores clocked at 1.8GHz per core and four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz per core with 600 MHz Adreno 510 GPU. The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has lifted the ban on using the latest Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone in flights. It has issued an advisory to the travelling public and airline companies to allow the usage of Note 7 smartphones, purchased after September 15.
