Samsung has introduced industry’s first 8GB RAM that uses 16-gigabit (Gb) LPDDR4 (low power, double data rate 4) mobile DRAM, based on the 10-nanometer (nm) class process technology. Samsung teases new Galaxy On series launch on Flipkart on Oct 20, Galaxy On5 2016 and On7 2016 expected

Samsung started teasing launch of Galaxy ‘On series’ smartphones exclusively on Flipkart few days back. Now it has posted a teaser image of the phone as well as a video that says that the phone will have a full metal body. Samsung has also confirmed Octa-Core processor.

Samsung Galaxy C9 with 16MP front and rear cameras, 6GB RAM to be announced on October 21

Samsung Galaxy C9 got certified by TENAA in China last week and the Galaxy C9 Pro also surfaced in press images. Now Samsung has announced an event on October 21st in China to unveil both the phones smartphone that have a unibody metal design. The company teased a new antenna arrangement on the back of the phone. Samsung calls it “next level of antenna craftsmanship”. Samsung India to offer full refunds for imported Galaxy Note7 units

Update: Samsung India has announced that consumers who have purchased Galaxy Note7 from overseas need to bring the Invoice to the nearest service center and get a refund basis the invoice value. The validity of it is November 1, 2016.

Earlier: Samsung announced last week that it has permanently discontinued the production and sales of the Galaxy Note7 owing to battery exploding issues. Although the flagship did not went on sale in India, there are a number of customers who had imported the device. A Timeline of the Rise & Fall of the Galaxy Note 7

On August 2nd 2016, Samsung introduced what it called as it’s very best smartphone ever. Right on cue, as the embargo lifted, we saw rave reviews and in fact FoneArena too praised it as an excellent smartphone. The ensuing two months however have been a continuous series of unfortunate events leading to the company canceling the product.
