Samsung Galaxy M40 goes on open sale in India

Samsung launched the Galaxy M40 smartphone earlier this month in India and the smartphone went on sale starting June 19th in flash sales via Amazon.in. Today, Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy M40 will now be available on open sale along with launch offers from Airtel, Vodafone Idea and Jio.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e with 10.5-inch WQXGA Super AMOLED display, 5.5mm sleek metal body launched in India starting at Rs. 35999

Samsung just launched Galaxy Tab S5e (SM-T725), the company’s latest tablet in India.  It was announced back in February and packs a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED WQXGA screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 670 SoC and runs on Android 9.0 (Pie). It has quad-speakers tuned by AKG by HARMAN, similar to the Tab S, but it doesn’t have an S Pen or Iris scanner. Samsung patents a smartphone with rollable display having expandable display area

Samsung patented a smartphone with foldable display back in 2017 and earlier this year, the company launched its foldable smartphone, Galaxy Fold. However, eventually, it was delayed citing display issues. Today, new reports have emerged that Samsung has patented a smartphone with a rollable display having an expandable display area. The patent was submitted on 28 November 2018 and was published on June 6, 2019.

Samsung CRG5 27-inch Full HD curved gaming monitor with 240Hz refresh rate announced

Samsung has today announced its new 27-inch CRG5 gaming monitor, the latest in Samsung’s line of curved gaming monitors. The company launched a 49-inch CRG9 gaming monitor recently and is now expanding the lineup with this new CRG5 monitor. The new curved monitor comes with a 240Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.

Samsung Galaxy M40 with 6.3-inch FHD+ Infinity-O display, Snapdragon 675, 6GB RAM, triple rear cameras launched in India for Rs. 19990

Samsung just launched the Galaxy M40, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in India, as it had promised. It has similar specifications as the Galaxy A60 that was introduced back in April that includes a 6.3-inch Full HD+  Infinity-O  LCD screen with 91.8% screen-to-body ratio,  is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 675 with 6GB of RAM, runs Android Pie with Samsung One UI, features a 32-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, secondary 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots and an 8-megapixel 123° ultra wide-angle lens. It also has a  16-megapixel front camera. It uses screen sound technology that uses the phone’s screen as an earpiece. Samsung to integrate custom AMD Radeon GPU IP into its future smartphone SoCs

AMD and Samsung Electronics have announced a multi-year strategic partnership in ultra low power, high performance mobile graphics IP based on AMD Radeon graphics technologies. As part of the partnership, Samsung will license AMD graphics IP to use it in its future SoCs. The company is currently using ARM’s Mali GPU in its Exynos SoCs, so this could change soon. Samsung launches world’s first QLED 8K TV and 2019 QLED TV line-up in India

Samsung has launched the world’s first QLED 8K TV in India. It has 8K AI Upscaling, Quantum Processor 8K, and Quantum HDR. These come in four sizes — 98-inch (247 cm), 82-inch (207 cm), 75-inch (189 cm) and 65-inch (163 cm) — come with 33 million pixels, four times the resolution of 4K UHD TVs and 16 times that of a Full HD TV.

Samsung Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 Android Pie One UI update starts rolling out in India

After the Android Pie update for Galaxy M30 earlier this week, Samsung has started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) One UI 1.1 update for the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 smartphones in India, few days before it had promised. These phones were launched in January running Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Samsung Experience 9.5.
