Samsung Galaxy A21s with 6.5-inch Infinity-O display, 48MP quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery announced

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy A21s after it surfaced earlier this week. It has a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-O display, is powered by a 2GHz Octa-Core processor, which is new Exynos 850, according to several rumors. It runs Android 10 with OneUI 2.0, comes with 48-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide, 2-megapixel depth and 2-megapixel macro sensor. There is also a 13-megapixel front camera. Samsung Galaxy A Quantum world’s first 5G smartphone with quantum security chip announced

Samsung has announced Galaxy A Quantum in partnership with SK Telecom in South Korea. This is world’s first 5G smartphone with quantum random number generation (QRNG) chipset. It shares similar specifications as the Galaxy A71 5G  that includes a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED Infinity-O Display, Exynos 980, 8GB RAM, 64MP quad rear cameras, 32MP front camera and a 4500mAh battery with 25W super fast charging. Samsung announces PM9A3 NVMe SSDs with E1.S form-factor

Targeting next generation data centre storage, Samsung Electronics has announced their PM9A3 NVMe SSDs that uses the SNIA-based E1.S form factor with full PCIe Gen 4 support. It will supports read speeds up to 3200MB/s, random writes of 180,000 IOPs and more.

Samsung’s mobile profits up 16.7% YoY in Q1 2020; expects Q2 smartphone sales to decline significantly due to COVID-19

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q1 2020 that ended March 31, 2020 in which the company has made revenue of 55.33 trillion won, a decrease of 7.6% from the previous quarter mainly due to weak seasonality for the Company’s display business and Consumer Electronics Division and partially due to effects of COVID-19. Revenue rose 5.6% YoY due to increasing demand for server and mobile components.
