Philips Lighting has finally launched HUE, web-enabled LED home lighting system in India, as expected. Hue allows users to control home lighting using their smartphone or tablet and supports both Android and iOS platforms. Philips has launched Xenium I908, a mid-range smartphone and the S309, a budget smartphone in India. The Philips I908 appeared on the official Philips India website last year and packs a 5-inch 1080p screen, 1.7GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6592 processor, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The Philips S309 has a 4-inch WVGA screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.
Philips S388 was listed on official India website back in August for Rs. 13694 (MRP) and later went on sale for Rs. 7,795 online. Now the Philips S398 smartphone has been listed on the official website in India. It has a 5-inch HD display, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), has a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Philips mobile has launched Philips Xenium X2566, the company’s latest phone for senior citizens. This has large fonts, SOS function and long lasting battery life, making it more comfortable and accessible to the elderly. It has mellow and full design, unique crystal double colour injection moulding technology and the keypad has large keys so that elders can read or text comfortably without straining their eyes.

Philips Mobile entered the Indian smartphone market with S308, W3500 and W6610 smartphones back in May. At the launch event the company said that it would launch the I928 smartphone in the country soon. Now Philips I928 and S388, two new Android smartphones have been listed on the official Philips India website along with the price tag. The I928 has a 6-inch 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass screen and narrow bezels, powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek processor, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.0 lens and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
