Lenovo launched the Vibe X2 smartphone in India last week, and the smartphone went on sale for Rs. 19999 earlier this week. We brought you the unboxing of the Vibe X2 recently, here we have the benchmarks. It is powered by a Octa-Core MediaTek MT6595M processor which as four ARM Cortex-A17 cores clocked at 2GHz per core and four ARM Cortex-A7 cores clocked at 1.69GHz per core, based on ARM big.LITTLE and 28nm HPM process. Motorola starts rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update to Moto X(2014) and Moto G (2014)

Soon after releasing Android 5.0 soak tests for second generation Moto X and Moto G, Motorola is now kick starting the roll out of Lollipop on Moto X  (2nd Gen), Moto G (2nd Gen.) U.S. GSM and Moto G (2nd Gen.) Global GSM versions sold in the U.S.

Android 5.0 Lollipop factory images for Nexus 5, 7 WiFi (2012 & 2013) and 10 now available

Immediately after it started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop over-the-air (OTA) update, Google has released factory images and binaries for the Nexus 5, WiFi variants of both Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 7 2013 and the Nexus 10. Factory images and binaries for the Nexus 4 and the Nexus 6 are not available yet. Google released factory images for Nexus 9 and the Nexus Player last week. Google has started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop over-the-air(OTA) update for Nexus 5, WiFi variants of both Nexus 7 2012 and Nexus 7 2013 and Nexus 10. Update for the 3G/LTE versions of the Nexus 7 2012 and 2013 and Nexus 4 haven’t started yet. The Nexus 6 and the Nexus 9 have received a minor update to address bugs. Galaxy Note Edge UK release set for November 28

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will go on sale in the UK on November 28 after Samsung announced Old Blighty had been chosen as one of the launch countries. Samsung announces Project Beyond – a camera capable of capturing 360 degree videos for Gear VR

Press shots of the Acer Iconia Tab 7 A1-724, the company’s upcoming tablet with voice calling capabilities surfaced last month. Now the tablet has surfaced on GFXBench database that reveals the specifications of the tablet. According to the listing, the tablet has a 7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 64-bit SoC with Adreno 306 GPU and Android 4.4.4 (KitKat). Samsung and SAP team up for Enterprise Wearable Apps

Samsung has announced that it is collaborating with SAP to create enterprise mobility apps for mobile devices and wearables. The two companies said they will collaborate to “build on the popularity and reach of Samsung’s mobile innovations and the SAP Mobil Platform,” according to a joint statement from the companies.

Panasonic Eluga S with 5-inch HD display, Octa-Core processor launched for Rs. 11190

Panasonic Eluga SPanasonic has launched Eluga S, the company’s latest smartphone in the Eluga series. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, powered by a 1.4 GHz True Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a new BLINK PLAY features that lets users capture selfies or groupies with the front-facing camera by just blinking your eyes to capture the image on an automatic three-second countdown.

It has SIM support and lets you make or receive calls directly without connecting it to a smartphone. You can even connect it to a smartphone to receive notifications from it. LG has launched Tone Infinim (HBS-900), premium Bluetooth stereo headset developed in collaboration with Harman/Kardon in India. It was unveiled back in March, has a stylish design that is almost similar to previous Tone series headsets from LG, but this has a glossy metallic finish. It has retractable wire management technology for tangle-free operation, jog button to fast forward and rewind, sound and vibration alert to inform of incoming messages, current time and battery status. HTC launched the Desire 820 smartphone in India last month for Rs. 24990. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Desire 820 is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 64-bit processor that has four ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.54 GHz per core and other four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.0 GHz per core. It has Adreno 405 GPU. The Desire 820 has a 5.5-inch HD display and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), similar to the Desire 816 that has a Snapdragon 400 processor.
