OPPO introduced its entry-level A37 smartphone in China back in April. Now it has introduced the smartphone for global markets. It has a 5-inch HD screen with 2.5D arc edge glass, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with ColorOS 3.0, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Chinese version, but this is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC instead of octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor. OPPO A59 with 3GB RAM, metal body, fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE announced
OPPO has introduced A59, the company’s latest smartphone in the A series in China. It has a 5.5-inch HD 2.5D curved glass screen, is powered by a octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with Color OS 3.0, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. OPPO F1 Plus FC Barcelona Edition announced
OPPO has introduced FC Barcelona edition of the F1 Plus Plus smartphone, few months after introducing the R7 Plus FC Barcelona Edition. It features a blue-and-red color scheme and an 18K gold-plated club insignia on the back of the smartphone It also has FC Barcelona-themed UI and an exclusive case sporting laser-printed signatures from Barcelona’s top players, namely: Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Neymar, Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitić. Today the company has launched the smartphone in the country, which is the same OPPO R9 smartphone that was unveiled in China last month. OPPO exclusive stores launched in Chennai and Jaipur
OPPO India continues its retail expansion plans for India by launching OPPO exclusive store in Chennai and Jaipur. The Chennai store was inaugurated by Indian cricketer Yusuf Pathan and the Jaipur store was inaugurated by his brother Irfan Pathan. OPPO R9 with 16MP front camera launching in India on April 5 [Update]
Update: OPPO has shared a teaser in Indonesia, so it will likely launch the R9 as F1 Plus in India, as it had promised earlier this year at the F1 launch event.
OPPO has sent out invites for the launch of R9, its flagship selfie-focused smartphone in India on April 5th. Even though the invite just says it will be a camera phone, OPPO’s teasers clear indicate that it is indeed the R9 that is coming next week. It is also expected to launch the R9 Plus along with the R9 that also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Both these that were introduced in China earlier this month have a fingerprint sensor embedded in the home button that can unlock the phone in just 0.2 seconds.

OPPO just announced its flagship R9 and R9 Plus smartphones at an event in China. The OPPO R9 has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 1.66mm ultra-narrow frame and 77.68% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. The OPPO R9 Plus has a 6-inch 1080p display with 79.3% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor and has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF).
OPPO R9 and R9 Plus complete specs leak out ahead of March 17 announcement
OPPO teased its camera-focused R9 and R9 plus smartphones last month. At that time some specifications of the smartphone leaked. Earlier this month both the smartphone got certified by TENAA in China revealing most specfications. Now the complete specifications of these smartphones have surfaced, ahead of the official announcement on March 17th.
