OPPO recently launched the A9 2020 smartphone in India alongside the A5 2020 with quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery, and more. Just after a month of launch in India, now, OPPO A9 2020 has received a price cut and this time around, it is the 4GB RAM variant and the price of 8GB RAM remains unchanged.
OPPO just announced Reno Ace, the company’s latest flagship smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 91.7% screen-to-body ratio, 90Hz refresh rate and 135Hz touch sampling rate, is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus with up to 12GB of RAM, uses composite carbon fiber between the chipset and the vapor cooling chamber, which is said to improve heat conductivity 3x to maximize CPU and GPU load, runs Android Pie with ColorOS on top. OPPO just announced K5, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the K series in China, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with 91.9% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Snapdragon 730G with up to 8GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 and packs a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 sensor and f/1.8 aperture. It has a 8MP 119° ultra-wide angle lens with 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.25 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP camera for 4cm macro with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture are same.
Update: September 26, 2019 – OPPO has confirmed that K5 will be announced on October 10th along with the Reno Ace. It will come in Green, Blue and White colors with 3D Glass back.
OPPO has shared the official image of the Reno Ace which shows a gradient glass back, and the complete specifications have been revealed on TENAA. It recently confirmed 65W SuperVOOC Flash Charge that can charge the phone’s 4000mAh battery in less than 30 minutes.

Earlier this week OPPO introduced its 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge fast charging, an upgrade to 20W VOOC 3.0 that is used in its current devices. OPPO already said that this will debut in K5 smartphone, successor of the K3. Today realme has confirmed that realme X2 will feature the 30W fast charging technology. The phone will be introduced in China on September 24th.
Yesterday OPPO confirmed that its Reno Ace with 65W SuperVOOC charging will be introduced in China on October 10th. After rumors, OPPO has confirmed the launch of A9 2020 smartphone in India on September 16th. It has a 6.5-inch Waterdrop notch screen, is powered by Snapdragon 665 with up to 8GB of RAM, has Quad rear cameras with a 48-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 2-megapixel for portraits and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It has a 16-megapixel front camera. There is EIS and Ultra Night Mode 2.0. The phone has Dolby Atmos, Dual Stereo Speakers and packs a 5000mAh battery with reverse charging capability.
Along with the Reno 2, OPPO also launched the Reno 2Z smartphones in India last week. Today the phone went on sale in India for Rs. 29,990 on Amazon.in and Flipkart online and offline stores. The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.1 on top. Today the company shared the features of ColorOS 6.1 on both Reno 2 and Reno 2Z that includes Ultra Dark and Ultra Steady Modes, SOLOOP video editor, Dual Wi-Fi, and more.

OPPO introduced the Reno 10x lossless zoom in China back in April, and it introduced a cheaper Reno 2 last week in India and China. Now the company is gearing up to introduce the 5G version of the Reno 10x lossless zoom edition in China, as it has been certified by TENAA in with the model number PCKM70. Brian Shen, OPPO VP confirmed that it will not be called the Reno 2 5G.

OPPO has started teasing the launch of A9 (2020) in Vietnam, and the phone has also been certified by TENAA in China with the model number PCHM30 revealing the complete specifications, and could be introduced in the home ground as A11x. The phone will pack a 5000mAh battery, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage along with a quad camera arrangement with a 48-megapixel primary camera, similar to the realme 5 Pro.

Along with the Reno series, OPPO also launched the Enco Q1 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones in India, as it had promised. It uses hybrid active noise cancellation, in which feed-forward and feedback microphones work together with a noise cancelling algorithm to maximally block out surrounding noise.
The headphones boast dynamic driver units with 11.8 mm composite diaphragms, in addition to support for AAC format, three immersive 3D audio modes, and audio tuning developed by a specialized acoustics team. The headphones have ENC technology has a precise microphone array that efficiently filters out background noise for calls, feature Bluetooth 5.0 support, quick pairing and have IPX4 ratings for water resistance.
The headphones are ergonomically designed, with earbuds that match the shape of the ear and a neckband that aligns with the contour of the neck to maximize comfort and stability. The headphones feature a simple and stylish appearance, a lightweight and comfortable body, and high flexibility, delivering a superior experience for users, says the company.
The headphones use a USB-C charging port, and can continuously play audio for 15 hours with noise cancelling on, or 22 hours with noise cancelling off. It has quick charge that offers up to 5 hours of usage with just 15 minutes of charge.
The OPPO Enco Q1 comes in Black and Orange colors, is priced at Rs. 7,990 and will go on sale in India soon.
Along with the Reno 2, OPPO also launched the Reno 2Z and Reno 2F smartphones in India. Both these have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display without notch, but compared to the shark fin, this has a 16-megapixel rising camera. The Reno 2Z is powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio P90 12nm SoC and the Reno 2F is powered by Helio P70. Both the phones have 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, run Android Pie with ColorOS 6.1 on top. These retain the 48-megapixel primary rear camera (Sony IMX586 (2Z) / Samsung ISOCELL GM1 (2F) sensor, 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide lens and 2-megapixel mono lens, but the telephoto lens is replaced by the 2-megapixel portrait lens.
