OPPO Reno 10x zoom 5G with 6.6-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 Plus, 12GB RAM gets certified


OPPO introduced the Reno 10x lossless zoom in China back in April, and it introduced a cheaper Reno 2 last week in India and China. Now the company is gearing up to introduce the 5G version of the Reno 10x lossless zoom edition in China, as it has been certified by TENAA in with the model number PCKM70. Brian Shen, OPPO VP confirmed that it will not be called the Reno 2 5G.

This reveals Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC with Qualcomm X50 5G modem, 12GB RAM and a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, 13-megapixel periscope telephoto camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, similar to the predecessor.

Even though TENAA specs doesn’t reveal the fourth camera, the image shows and additional camera, which could be a 2-megapixel mono lens that was seen in Reno 2. It will retain 16-megapixel shark fin camera on the top, in-display fingerprint scanner and a 4000mAh battery respectively with VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
