OnePlus 6 was launched last month and the community development of the device has already started. In fact, an official TWRP recovery has been released as well much like many other OnePlus phones. However, a security researcher Jason Donenfeld, president of Edge Security LLC has discovered a vulnerability on the device that allows the device to boot any arbitrary modified image that bypasses bootloader protection measures. OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 5.1.6 update brings front camera portrait, battery percentage in status bar and more

OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS 5.1.6 for the latest OnePlus 6 smartphone that brings several new features, including the portrait mode support for the front camera, as it had promised at the launch event. It also brings battery percentage in the status bar, Idea VoLTE support in India (However some are reporting that it still doesn’t work), Dual-4G network option and more, including power consumption optimization and system stability improvements. OnePlus announces ‘Open Ears’ community event in India on July 7

OnePlus 5 and 5T OxygenOS 5.1.2 update brings double-tap to lock screen, May Android security patch and more

OnePlus 5 and 5T received OxygenOS 5.1 Android 8.1 (Oreo) stable update last month, and soon the company rolled out OxygenOS 5.1.1 for the phones with an Hot Fix to fix ringtone issue for phone and notifications. Now it has rolled out OxygenOS 5.1.2 update that brings several new features for Gallery, fixes for WiFi, microphone issues when using AKG earphones and finally double-tap to wake-up for the lock screen. OnePlus 6 pop-up events saw massive turn out in 11 countries

As promised, OnePlus earlier this week launched its latest flagship smartphone — OnePlus 6 with power-packed specifications and glass with metal design at a starting price of Rs. 34,999 in the Indian market. OnePlus 6 Camera Samples

OnePlus launched its flagship  OnePlus 6 smartphone in India last week, ad the phone comes with a new camera sensor. It equips a 16-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.7 aperture 1.22µm pixel Sony IMX519 sensor with Contrast Detection Auto-Focus, Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) along with Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), compared to Sony IMX398 sensor on the 5T, which lacked OIS. It retains the same secondary 20-megapixel secondary camera with f/1.7 aperture 1.0 µm pixel Sony IMX371 sensor as the 5T to capture depth information in portrait shots. OnePlus 6 Benchmarks and Gaming Review – Snapdragon 845 with Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB RAM

OnePlus launched its flagship  OnePlus 6 smartphone in India last week. We already brought you the unboxing of the phone, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The OnePlus 6 is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 10nm Mobile Platform with that has four custom Kryo 385 Performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz per core and four smaller Efficiency Kryo 280 cores are clocked at 1.8GHz per core and has Adreno 630 GPU,  8GB LPDDR4x RAM, but this has a larger 6.28-inch 19:9 Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Oxygen OS 5.1. OnePlus 6 Review

OnePlus is one company which concentrates only on flagships instead of launching several smartphones. The Chinese handset maker finally launched this year’s flagship — the OnePlus 6, six months after the launch of OnePlus 5T. This has seen a completely new design compared to the predecessor, has a large screen with a notch, comes with a glass body, and  brings several new features such as OIS, water-resistance and more. Even though the phone looks premium and has top-end feature that most flagships have, the company is still keeping the cost low compared to others.
