Nokia has announced the much awaited update to the Symbian OS. It is called Anna and was previously known as PR 2.0.
Nokia announced the E6 earlier today and it is a successor to the popular E72 handset.You must have seen the photos. The E6 packs a display with a 640×480 pixel resolution in such a small form-factor. It’s still powered by a not so fast 680MHz processor which makes it possible for this handset to quote a 14.8 hour talk time on GSM and 7.5 hours on 3G with almost 30 days of stand by time. The handset also ships with the Symbian Anna update which brings a new UI and other features.

The Nokia X7-00 has been making noise for quite some time now and there was some talk about the handset being shelved after it did not launch on AT&T USA. It’s been a rather rainy day today here in Austria, but since the weather has cleared up a bit, i was out and about with the Nokia N8 before. Spring has finally arrived and with it some buds on the tree right in front of the company I’m working at. If you know me, you know my love for the Nokia N8. Symbian^3 doesn’t exactly make it the most user-friendly device, but as mentioned in my Nokia E7 hits and misses post, Nokia’s hardware is unmatched. Focus point on the Nokia N8 is of course the 12MP camera with carl zeiss optics, a xenon flash and the biggest sensor ever put into a mobile phone. The results were so awesome, I’ve decided to do this quick post here at Fone Arena!
