Live image of White colored Moto E (XT1022) showed up few hours back, now the press shots of the phone has surfaced on a brazilian retail site. The image shows the Moto E (XT1025) in black that has built-in digital TV as rumored earlier. Motorola Moto E shows up in the wild ahead of launch

Motorola Moto E has been spotted in a live image for the first time, less than a week ahead of launch. Posing next to the Moto G, the Moto E looks a bit smaller, but has larger bezels compared to Moto G. It also has a speaker grill on the bottom and a Motorola logo on the top. Moto X+1 for AT&T shows up on Motorola website briefly

At the start of this month, Motorola’s Moto X+1 appeared on MotoMaker website. The company however did not give any details about the phone and deleted the references on it. According to earlier rumors the Moto X+1 comes with 25 custom backplate options, including four leather options.

Last week Motorola scheduled two separate events in London and India on May 13th to unveil its affordable smartphone. According to a listing on Zauba, Indian import/export website, Moto E (XT-1022) has been imported from China to Bangalore few days back. This was first spotted by AndroidOS. Since the phone has already been imported, it is expected to go on sale soon, after it launches on May 13th. Microsoft to reveal a smaller Surface on May 20th, sends out invites

Microsoft’s strategic shift into a “Devices and Services” company saw the release of its own hardware range, under the “Surface” moniker, which was previously donned by the touchscreen tables, now called Pixel Sense. The Surface devices were tablets meant to show case Windows at its finest form. The Surface RT and the Surface Pro have seen two iterations already, with the former running on powerful ARM processors, while the latter, running on Ultrabook-grade specifications, meant to give high performance in a portable touchscreen form factor. Suffice to say, both of them have been met only with lukewarm response. With mini tablets gaining a large foothold, even Apple acknowledged the need with its iPad mini, and several OEM partners of Microsoft started releasing their own 8 inch Windows 8.1 tablets, once the OS was ready to support smaller screens. And now, it seems like Microsoft is ready to show the world what it can do with a smaller screen, on May 20th, as the company plans to reveal a new Surface device, at an event in New York city.

Motorola XT912A, an unknown device has surfaced of GFXBench. The Motorola Droid Razr had a codename XT912, so the XT912A could belong to the Droid family. It could also be the rumored Motorola Moto X+1 and the successor of last year’s Moto X. Motorola shipped 6.5 million smartphones in Q1 2014

Motorola Mobility has announced that they have shipped 6.5 million smartphones globally in the first quarter of 2014. The company’s COO Rick Osterloh has not shared how much it actually sold. 6.5 million smartphone shipments in a quarter is definitely huge, since other competitors like LG and Lenovo has shipped less than 10 million smartphones in Q4 2013, according to IDC report. Motorola Solutions signs patent agreement with Microsoft for Android and Chrome devices

Microsoft has announced that Motorola Solution, provider of communication solutions and services has signed a patent licensing agreement with them, that covers Microsoft’s patent portfolio for Motorola Solutions’ devices running on Android and Chrome OS. Microsoft launched its IP licensing program in December 2003 and has over 1,100 licensing agreements, that includes agreements with companies like Samsung, ZTE, LG, HTC, Acer and most recently Dell.
