Micromax A34, a new entry-level Android smartphone is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. It has a 3.95-inch (320 x 480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has Dual SIM support with dual standy similar to other Micromax smartphones. It has a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Earlier this year Micromax launched the A35 Blot with a 4-inch WVGA display and a front-facing camera. Micromax Canvas 4 vs Karbonn S5 Titanium

Karbonn and Micromax have been fighting to get the top spot in the mid-range phablet market in India. Micromax are with their fourth Canvas phone – the Canvas 4 while Karbonn are struggling to establish a single series and they have a very able Karbonn S5 Titanium.

The Canvas 4 was launched in July while the Karbonn S5 Titanium was released back in May. Both the devices have quite a lot of differences starting right from their internals with the Micromax Canvas 4 being powered by MediaTek’s Quad-core processor while Karbonn S5 Titanium is powered by a quad-core processor from Qualcomm. Both the devices also have different price points with the Canvas 4 on the higher mid-range while the S5 Titanium falls into the low mid-range category.

Micromax Canvas 4 vs Canvas HD

Micromax has slowly grown from a company selling entry-level feature phones to the company creating much hype in the mid-range phablet market in India. Things started to fall in place for Micromax with the Canvas 2 which was launched less than a year ago. Within the last six months, we have seen two flagships from Micromax Canvas HD in February and now the Canvas 4 in July.

The Canvas HD was a big update over the Canvas 2 considering its quad-core processor, HD display and newer version of Android. The Canvas 4 is not a huge upgrade over the Canvas HD expect in terms of build quality, better camera and more recent version of Android out of the box.

Micromax Bling 3 A86 now available for Rs. 9599

Micromax Bing 3 A86 that surfaced last week is now available from online retailer Snapdeal. The Bling 3 is the 3rd phone in the Bling series Bling phone that was launched back in 2010 and Bling 2 A55 that was launched in 2011. The Bling 3 has  Swarovski Zirconia crystals similar to the other Bling phones. It has 4-inch touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Micromax launched the first Bling phone back in 2010 and unveiled the Bling 2 A55 in 2011. Now the third phone in the Bling series, Bling 3 A86 has surfaced on online retail site Flipkart. According to the listing the phone would come with a 4-inch touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is encrusted with Swarovski Zirconia crystals making it a premium smartphone. Micromax launched its first device in the Canvas back in August 2012 , calling it the Superfone Canvas A100. The Micromax A110 Superfone Canvas 2 launched 3 months later in November. Micromax lost the Superfone tag soon after the second canvas device. The A116 Canvas HD, the company’s first smartphone with a HD display made a debut earlier this year. Micromax launched fourth device in the Canvas series is aptly named the Canvas 4 with a model number A210. One thing that is common in all the Canvas devices is the 5-inch display. We’ve been playing with the Micromax Canvas 4 ever since we unboxed it, and if you had noticed our YouTube channel, we have a lot of coverage in terms of gameplay videos, gaming review, and of course the unboxing too. If one important feature that stands out, on the Canvas 4 in comparison with the Canvas HD, it’s the camera. Micromax Canvas 4 Benchmarks

Micromax unveiled the Canvas 4 A210, the company’s flagship smartphone at an event in Delhi earlier this week. We unboxed the device earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the device.  It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek 6589 processor with PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU similar to the A116 Canvas HD . It comes with a  5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display at 295 PPI pixel density. It runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean). Let’s see how the phone stands up in these synthetic benchmarks.

Micromax unveiled the Canvas 4 A210, the company’s flagship smartphone at an event in Delhi earlier this week.  We brought you the first hands-on impressions of the device from the event. Here we have the device for unboxing. It comes in Pristine White & Smoky Grey colors, and we have the White colored phone with us. The phone features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with corning gorilla glass protection. It is powered by quad-core MediaTek 6589 chip clocked at 1.2 GHz with PowerVR SGX544 MP2 GPU. It runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean).

The company stared teasing the phone in photos and videos last month and it went on pre-order at the end of last month and it says that the phone has got about 4000 pre-orders in the first 24 hours. The Canvas 4 has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with corning gorilla glass protection, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Micromax Canvas 4 to launch on 8th July, Prebooking starts for Rs. 5000

The successor to the very popular Micromax Canvas HD is almost here and the company is all set to launch the handset on 8th July. Micromax has also started prebookings for the Canvas 4 A210. Not much has been revealed in terms of specifications but the handset is expected to be powered by a MediaTek quad core processor. Previous leaks suggest that the phone will be equipped with a 13MP rear camera which is unprecedented in the indigenous smartphone segment. Additionally and perhaps most importantly, the phone is believed to sport a 5 inch Full HD display.
