LG Optimus L3 II Dual and the Optimus L7 II Dual have been priced at Rs.8800 and Rs.18650 on the LG India website. LG unveiled the Optimus L Series II devices, the Optimus L3 II, the Optimus L5 II and the Optimus L7 II and their dual SIM variant earlier this February. The LG Optimus L3 II Dual has a 3.2-inch (320 x 240 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and packs a 1540 mAh battery. The Optimus L7II Dual has a 4.3-inch (800 × 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8225 processor with Adreno 203 GPU and packs a 2460 mAh battery. These run on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) and have dual SIM support with a dedicated SIM switch button. LG Optimus G Pro sales surpass half a million units

LG has announced that the sales (to supply channel) of their latest flagship, the Optimus G Pro has surpassed 500 thousand units in their home county Korea, in less than 40 days of launch. The LG Optimus G Pro was unveiled in February, that went on sale in Korea on February 21st. LG announced last month that they have sold over 10 million LTE smartphones globally, since their first LTE smartphone that was launched in Korea back in October 2011. The Optimus LTE sold 5,000 units on the first day of the launch, LG has announced they sold 10,000 units of the Optimus G Pro on the launch day. Will Google start selling the Nexus 4 in India soon ?

In an interesting development , Google has listed the Nexus 7 up for sale on the Google Play India store just minutes ago. This is the first time Google is directly selling a device in India to a customer through its Play store. This might be a sign of things to come. The Nexus 4 is also hidden on the store but the page says that ” it is not available in your country ” . There has been a lot of speculation about the Nexus 4 launching in India ever since Google started selling one of the most affordable Android 4.2 powered in the US market.

Google Nexus 4 Wireless Charger Unboxing and Hands on

If we remember right, Google launched the Nexus 4 along with a cool Wireless charger called the Charging Orb, but it never arrived until a couple of weeks back, when it finally came up on the Google Play Store. The Nexus 4 Wireless Charger, as it is called, is made by LG, just like the Nexus 4 itself. The device resembles a lot like the Nexus Q cut in half, suggesting Google’s influence in its design. We took it for a spin in our labs, and this video below is what happened when we unboxed it and gave a demo –

LG Optimus G Pro to get Smart Video feature with eye recognition to control video playback

LG has announced that the Optimus G Pro would get new features in a new Value Pack upgrade including Smart Video and Smart Camera features. Smart Video recognizes the position of the viewer’s eyes and automatically plays or stops the video when the viewer’s eyes are no longer focused on the smartphone display. LG unveiled the Optimus G Pro last month, that went on sale in Korea at the end of last month. LG Optimus L5 II global roll out starts this week

LG unveiled the Optimus L Series II devices at the MWC 2013 last month. The Optimus L7 II was the first device to ship starting from Russia, and the Optimus L3 II global roll out started couple of weeks back starting from Brazil. LG has now announced that the Optimus L5 II would go on sale globally starting from this week. All the new All the L Series II devices share same design elements such as Seamless Layout, Laser Cut Contour, Radiant Rear Design and colorful Smart LED Lighting on the home button. LG Optimus F7 launched as Optimus LTE 3 in Korea

LG has launched the Optimus LTE 3, the successor of the Optimus LTE 2 in Korea. The Optimus LTE 3 is just the Optimus F7 that was unveiled at the MWC last month. It packs a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS Display and is powered by 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It is 9.6 mm thick and weighs 134 grams. It has Q shopping, a NFC-based shopping app for Korean users.

LG launches Optimus G Pro Quick Cover case

LG has released new Quick Cover case for the Optimus G in Korea. They come in 7 colors, including 5 shiny variants and two patterned variants. The Quick Cover case has a semiconductor device mounted on a magnetic substance on the cover, that makes the screen turn off immediately when closed, and wake up immediately when opened. LG LTE smartphone sales cross 10 million units globally

LG Electronics has announced that they have sold more than 10 million LTE smartphones globally. LG announced the Optimus LTE, their first LTE smartphone in Korea back in October 2011, and shipped over 600,000 units in Korea alone in just 100 days after the launch. The global shipments of Optimus LTE crossed the 1 million mark last January. LG LTE smartphone sales crossed the 3 million mark last May and crossed 5 million mark in August. LG Optimus F7 Hands On
LG showed off its new F7 handset here at the Mobile World Congress. The handset is a part of their upper middle range strategy and has a large 4.7″ 720p display.

LG has officially launched the Optimus G (E975) in India. The Optimus G went on sale in India last week. It comes with a 4.7-inch (1280 x 768 pixels) True HD IPS + Display with 15:9 aspect ratio, 550 nits brightness and Gorilla Glass 2 protection, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with LG Optimus 3.0 UI on top. LG has started rolling out Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for the Optimus Vu 2 in Korea. The LG Optimus Vu 2 was launched in Korea back in September with Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). LG unveils World’s smallest Wireless Charger WCP-300

LG has releases a new Wireless Charging Pad (WCP-300), which is just 6.98 cm in diameter. LG claims that it is the world’s smallest wireless charger. Even though it is small in size, it would would offer better charging efficiency than the existing LG wireless chargers with up to 1.7 times large area with its circular design.
