Lenovo today introduced the PHAB 2 and PHAB 2 Plus phablets at the Lenovo Tech World 2016 in San Francisco. These are the successors of last year’s PHAB and PHAB Plus smartphones. The high-end PHAB 2 Plus has a 6.4-inch 1080p 2.5D Curved Glass display and comes with dual 13-megapixel rear cameras with Futjitsu Milbeaut ISPs, Laser AF, PDAF, LED flash. It has several features such as refocus, background swap,extreme manual settingsand Augmented-Realityspecial effectsIt also has a fingerprint sensor. Lenovo just announced PHAB 2 Pro, the world’s first tango (project tango previously) smartphone for consumers at the Tech World 2016 in San Francisco in partnership with Google, as it had promised earlier this year at the CES. It has four cameras that includes a 16-megapixel RGB camera, a depth camera, a motion tracking camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera for Tango’s 3D mapping technology to understand the world around you. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back.

Lenovo has started rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its K4 Note in India. The smartphone was launched earlier this year (first week of January). Lenovo has now published its financial earnings report for the final quarter of its 2015/16 fiscal year, ending in March. The company has recorded $9.1 billion in revenue in Q4 2015, down 19% YoY.

After the launch of ZUK Z2 Pro, Lenovo’s ZUK is all set to introduce the ZUK Z2, a smaller and affordable version of the phone at an event in China on May 31st. ZUK CEO Chang Cheng already shared an image of the smartphone and also confirmed that it will be powered by Samsung Exynos 8 Octa 8890 14nm 64-bit processor that powers the Galaxy S7 series. Lenovo officially completed its take over of Motorola by releasing the Moto G4 and G4 Plus today with the name Motorola being ignored and preference given to Moto and Lenovo instead. The Moto brand still very much exists but is now part of Lenovo itself instead of a separate entity.
