ASUS has launched the Fonepad 8 (FE380CG), the company’s latest tablet in the Fonepad series with dual SIM support, 3G and voice calling capabilities. It has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display with 5.06mm narrow bezel bezel and a screen-to-body ratio of 72.2%, is powered by a 1.33 GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 processor with PowerVR Series 6 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Zen UI. Asus has announced Fonepad 7 (FE171CG), a refreshed variant of last year’s Fonepad 7 at the CES this year. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, similar to the Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG that was launched in India last year, but this runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, comes with a 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel rear camera, 1GB or 2GB RAM depending on the region. Asus Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5 get a price cut in India

Asus Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5 smartphone have received a price cut in India. The Zenfone 4 (A400CG) was launched in India for Rs. 5,999 last year and the Zenfone 5 was launched for Rs. 9,999 for 8GB and Rs. 12,999 for 16GB. There is no price cut for the Zenfone 4 (A450CG), which still retails Rs. 6,999.  The Zenfone series received Android 4.4 (KitKat) update last year. Check out the new pricing below. ASUS unveils ZenFone Zoom with 3x optical zoom

ASUS along with the ZenFone 2 has announced ZenFone Zoom at its event in Las Vegas. ASUS CEO Jonney Shih during his presentation showcased the company’s latest camera phone.

ASUS unveils ZenFone 2 – features 64 bit Intel processor and 4GB of RAM

ASUS has taken wraps of its latest ZenFone 2 smartphone at its dedicated CES 2015 event in Las Vegas. The company’s chairman also announced that they are now shipping over 1.5 million ZenFone smartphones a month.

ASUS ZenFone 2 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display and comes with a 72% screen-to-body ration, which means that the display occupies more space in the body rather the bezels. ASUS has announced Pegasus X002, the company’s latest budget smartphone in China that competes with the Xiaomi Redmi 1S smartphone. It has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) capacitive multi-touch IPS display, is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6732 64-bit processor with ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit CPUs and Mali-T760 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (Kitkat) with Zen UI on top. ASUS CES 2015 Teaser hints at Zenfone 2

ASUS just released its CES 2015 teaser titled The origin of craftsmanship of the next Zen. The title clearly sates that it is going to unveil the next Zenfone device at the event. The teaser also says Experience 2morrow, which could hint at Zenfone 2 name. It launched three Zenfone devices at the CES 2014 earlier this year in three price segments. Asus ZenWatch launches in the UK on Dec 23 for £199

When they announced the ZenWatch back at IFA, Asus claimed it would arrive before Christmas and they’ve just about kept to their word. The stylish Android Wear watch will land in the UK exclusively at Currys and PC World on December 23rd for the princely sum of £199 (which is somewhat discerning given the $199 launch price in the USA). Asus launched the Zenfone 5 Lite (A502CG), a cheaper variant of the Zenfone 5 in Philippines last month. Now the smartphone is available in India on Flipkart. It has a 5-inch qHD screen with Soda-lime glass screen protection, is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 SoC and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat).
