ASUS at the Computex 2018 in Taiwan announced VivoWatch BP (HC-A04), the company’s latest smartwatch with built-in ECG and PPG sensors. It also provides  real-time blood pressure measurements in 15 seconds. It features ASUS HealthAI technology to help users keep track of their blood pressure and health stats – such as heart rate, sleep quality, activity data, and de-stress index –- while also providing suggestions for a better lifestyle. Asus ROG Phone with 6-inch AMOLED 90Hz HDR display, Snapdragon 845, 8GB RAM, up to 512GB storage, AeroActive Cooler announced

Asus’s ROG at the Computex 2018 in Taiwan introduced the ROG Phone, the company’s first gaming smartphone. It has a 6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED  HDR 90Hz, 1ms response time AMOLED display with DCIP3 gamut with Gaming HDR and Mobile HDR supported by dedicate hardware display chip, is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC that is clocked up to 2.96GHz with 8GB RAM. It has new GameCool system that improves thermals with a copper heat spreader and 3D vapor chamber that efficiently transfer heat away from the SoC and into the body, says the company.

Asus Zenfone 3 Zoom Android 8.0 Oreo update starts rolling out

Asus has announced the rollout of Oreo update to the Zenfone 3 Zoom bringing the version to V80.20.179.40. Since it is a server side roll out, the update might take few days and will be available in batches. Asus has officially introduced Zenfone Live L1 (ZA550KL), the company’s first Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone in Indonesia, after it surfaced earlier this month. It packs a 5.45-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 82% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC with 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM, runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition or Android 8.0 (Oreo) with ZenUI 5 depending on the version, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera and also has face unlock. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Review

The ZenFone series of devices have had a rollercoaster-like existence in India. From the soaring success of the first generation ZenFone to the hit or miss attempt at making it a high end product, the company hasn’t shied away from experiments either. The ZenFone series became a catch all of sorts with interesting devices like the ZenFone Zoom and ZenFone AR also falling under the same branding. As it goes though, it is the value segment that rules the roost in India. Asus went back to the drawing board and has created a brand new device specifically for India and our initial impressions put it as rather impressive. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Camera Samples

Asus launched the Zenfone Max Pro M1 last month. We already brought you the unboxing and benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. The phone packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, 1.12μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera to capture the depth information for portrait shots. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with soft LED flash and f/2.2 aperture. The company already said that it is using OmniVision sensors.

The phone went out of stock as soon as the pre-orders opened at 12 noon. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 gets a new update with Face unlock, camera improvements and more ahead of sale

Asus launched the  Zenfone Max Pro M1  smartphone last week, and the phone will be available for order in the country from tomorrow, May 3rd, exclusively on Flipkart starting at Rs. 10,999. Today the company has rolled out a new update to review units that brings Face recognition, improves gyroscope and audio as well as improvements to the camera and battery during standby. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 Benchmarks

ASUS just launched its Zenfone Max Pro M1 smartphone in India. We brought the first impressions of the smartphone, here we have the benchmarks of the phone. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 636 Mobile platform that has 8 x Kryo 260 cores clocked at up to 1.8GHz per core and it has Adreno 509 GPU. It has 4GB of RAM, runs stock Android 8.1 (Oreo) and packs a 6-inch Full HD+ display. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores results below.
