ASUS has refreshed their entire lineup of mainstream gaming laptops in India, including the ROG Strix G15 and G17, Strix SCAR G15 and G17, and the TUF F15 and F17. They now feature either the 12th Gen Intel Core H-series processors or the latest AMD Ryzen 6000 Series Mobile Processors, and up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU.
ASUS launched the 8z in India last week, about 9 months after it was introduced as Zenfone 8 in May last year. The smartwatch was supposed to be launched soon after the global announcement, but it was delayed for some reason. ASUS today launched the Vivobook 13 Slate OLED, the company’s latest 2-in-1 convertible notebook, which the company says is the world’s first 13.3-inch OLED Windows detachable laptop. It also features the new ASUS Pen 2.0 Stylus, a magnetically detachable full-size keyboard, and a detachable 170° hinge.
ASUS launched its OLED laptops in India last year, and the company is now gearing up to launch its first OLED TV in the country on March 3rd. “The new age of ASUS OLED TV is here & is your perfect companion to #WowTheWorld. After months of delays, ASUS today launched the ASUS 8z, the company’s latest smartphone as the successor to ASUS 6z in India, as it had announced. It has a 5.9-inch 120Hz E4 AMOLED screen with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, is powered by Snapdragon 888 SoC with support for 5G SA/NSA with support for several 5G bands, 8GB of LPDDR5 and 128GB storage . ASUS introduced the Zenfone 8, the company’s latest flagship smartphone, back in May 2021. The company confirmed that the India launch of the phone will be delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic in the country. The ASUS 8Z name was confirmed soon after. ASUS today confirmed the launch of ROG Phone 5s and 5s Pro, successors to the ROG Phone 5 series in India on February 15th in an online event, after they were introduced in August last year. The 5s model retains the 6.78-inch Full HD+ Samsung’s E4 AMOLED HDR display with 144Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch-sampling rate, 24.3ms touch latency and has up to 18GB of RAM and up to 512GB storage, but this is powered by Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. The ASUS TUF series of laptops is well known for offering good performance and strong build quality, but with reasonable prices.
