ASUS, MSI and COLORFUL introduce GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs

ASUS has introduced new ROG Strix and TUF Gaming RTX 4090 and RTX 40980 graphics cards, after NVIDIA introduced its new RTX 40 series GPUs.

ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090

The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 409 is built for high resolutions and quick refresh rates. Die-cast metal frames, shrouds, and backplates comprise the 3.5-slot card. A pass-through vent on the back of the 357 mm card allows for unsurpassed airflow.

ASUS has improved the Axial-Tech fans with a thicker design that features seven blades and full barrier rings to increase airflow and pressure. ASUS’ Axial-Tech fans have seven blades and full barrier rings to maximize airflow and pressure.

They support native 16-pin PCIe with no adapters required. An ARGB tail light works with Aura Sync to give customized illumination, and two FanConnect II headers allow case fan control via GPU temperature measurements in GPU Tweak III. Because of ASUS 0dB technology, the card is silent at low loads and supports Dual BIOS. Like our previous ROG cards, the Strix GeForce RTX 4090 was made using the ASUS Auto-Extreme production method, which minimizes human interaction.

TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090

TUF Gaming’s GeForce RTX 4090 covers users. The TUF version is 348 mm long so it can fit in wider cases. It also has great performance, cooling, and power management. Along the shroud, a 3D acrylic TUF logo has ARGB lighting that works with Aura Sync, and a detachable velcro loop gives you options for managing cables.

Larger Axial-Tech fans provide 20% more airflow than previous generations’ GeForce RTX 3090 Ti. The TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 uses the new 16-pin power connector that comes with PCIe 5.0. It also has 20K capacitors and 10+4 high-current power stages.

ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 16GB

The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 16GB is a next-gen PC powerhouse. 3.5-slot cooler employs a similar die-cast metal frame, shroud, and backplate as the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090, giving the PCB stiffness. It’s 357 mm long and has a huge heatsink and backplate vent for airflow.

TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 16GB

The TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 16GB combines great performance and durability. This new card has a die-cast unibody shroud and aluminium backplate to protect the PCB and a 3.65-slot thick heatsink for next-level cooling. It’s slightly thicker than the Strix models, but 9mm shorter for broader cases. Dual BIOS, Axial-T, Aura Sync, and other features are also included.

ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 12GB

ASUS is also releasing the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 12GB, which offers powerhouse performance in a smaller configuration with all the style and substance fans expect from ROG Strix. This 3.15-slot-thick, 336-mm-long card has a lot of heatsink surface for airflow and keeps the cyberpunk look and ultra-rigid structure of its bigger siblings.

TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 12GB

ASUS provides a TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 12GB with the same strong GPU as the Strix version but a bigger heatsink and shorter card design. The 3.25 slots and long-lasting Axial-Tech fans provide plenty of cooling, but the short length of 305 mm makes it fit in more cases.

MSI unveils custom NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series

MSI’s new GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 graphics processing units (GPUs) have better graphics technology, circuit board design, and cooling based on the new NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture.

SUPRIM

SUPRIM cards offer performance, efficiency, and prestige. MSI’s most advanced air cooling system, TRI FROZR 3S, dissipates heat from crucial board components with TORX FAN 5.0, up to 10 core pipes, Airflow Control fins with wave-curved 3.0 edges, and air-antegrade fins.

SUPRIM LIQUID

This generation will also introduce a liquid-cooled SUPRIM series. This series uses a closed-loop liquid cooling technology to keep temperatures low and boost performance. MSI Silent Gale P12 120 mm fans cool the 240 mm radiator with enormous air pressure and little noise. A single TORX 5.0 fan on a heat sink cools the power delivery components.

GAMING TRIO

Gaming Trio features a new but instantly recognisable design while maintaining its superior performance, cooling, and low noise. The new TORX Fan 5.0 has pairs of three fan blades connected together by an exterior connection to direct airflow into the improved Tri Frozr 3 cooling system.

VENTUS

VENTUS is back with three award-winning TORX 4.0 fans. VENTUS cards are the essence of a no-frills Spartan design philosophy. This graphics card has a good cooling system, a backplate made of brushed metal, and a well-rounded look.
