Macbook’s performance could get better with ‘Pro Mode’

Macbooks of the future may get more performance out of its hardware as code found in the latest macOS 10.15.3 beta hints at something called ‘Pro Mode’. The code shows a toggle for the ‘Pro Mode’ in the macOS power management system that users can use to temporarily have ‘Apps run faster’.

Next generation Apple Pencil may support more touch gestures including swiping, etc.

With the Apple Pencil 2, Apple introduced a double tap control interface that enabled secondary functions in supported apps for the iPad Pro. Now, according to a new patent filed by Apple, they may be introducing more gestures and swipe capabilities with the addition of new touch sensors in the next generation Pencil.

2020 5G iPhones on track for September 2020-January 2021 launch: Report

During June 2019, popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reported that all the iPhones released in 2020 will come with 5G support and will come 4 model sizes. Apple iPhone XR top selling phone globally every quarter from Q4 2018 till Q3 2019: Report

A report published by Counterpoint research has shown the iPhone XR to be the top selling phone for Q3 2019, accounting for almost 3.0% of all phones sold worldwide. The XR was took the position as Apple’s most sold ever phone model till date, contributing to over one-quarter of the total Apple sales during the Q3 2019.

Apple warns Pro Display XDR users not to use non-Apple polishing cloths to clean the nano-texture glass

2020 iPhone models may have larger battery with new battery protection circuits

ITM Semiconductor, a South Korean circuit manufacturer who began supplying battery circuit modules for the iPhone 11 is supposedly going to be supplying newer battery protection circuits for the upcoming iPhone 12. The newer module will likely enable the iPhone 12 to have a larger battery capacity due to the smaller size of the protection circuit.

Intel completes sale of smartphone modem business to Apple valued at $1 billion

Intel has announced that it has completed the sale of the majority of its smartphone modem business to Apple. This transaction, valued at $1 billion, was announced back in July, and Intel already said that approximately 2,200 Intel employees will join Apple, along with intellectual property, equipment and leases.
