Apple ‘One more thing’ event scheduled for November 10, Apple Silicon Macs expected

Apple has scheduled its ‘One more thing’ virtual event on November 10th, earlier than the rumoured date. We can expect first Apple Silicon Macs at the event. Apple is holding media events in three consecutive months, all of them virtually.

Popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s already reported that the first ARM Mac would be a 13-inch MacBook Pro. A new Bloomberg report said that it will also introduce a 16-inch ‌MacBook Pro‌ and a 13-inch MacBook Air without any significant changes. Apple already said that the Apple Silicon will deliver industry-leading performance and powerful new technologies such as advanced power management for maximized performance and battery life, Secure enclave for the best-in-class security, High-performance GPU for whole new level of graphics performance, Neural Engine and Machine learning accelerators, video, display and image processing engines.

Earlier report from Bloomberg said the first Apple ARM chips would feature a 12-core processor based on the A14X design. These are expected to best the Intel equivalents in both performance with faster CPU/GPU and better optimized battery life.

A recent Bloomberg report said that Apple will introduce other products alongside, so we can expect the AirPods Studio, Apple’s high-end over-ear headphones at the event. Apple did not launch AirTags at the iPhone event, but it is not clear if this will be launched at the Mac event, since this has reportedly been delayed till March 2021.

The Apple event will begin 10AM PDT (11:30 PM IST) on November 10th and will stream directly from Apple Park.
