Twitter Blue, a monthly subscription service that was rolled out first to Australia and Canada earlier this year, is now rolling out to the U.S. and New Zealand. With the rollout, the service is also getting a couple of new features such as Ad-free articles, custom navigation options, Labs features and more.
A couple of months ago, Twitter introduced their subscription service called Twitter Blue that offered a selection of premium features. Subscribers can now access two new features – pinned conversations on iOS and longer video uploads on the desktop client.

Social media giant Twitter has released their earnings report for Q3 2021, which records an earnings of $1.28 billion in revenue, and a 13% YoY growth in Monetizable Daily Active Usage (mDAU). As part of the total revenue, Advertising revenue contributed $1.18 billion, while Data licensing and other revenue totaled $143 million.
Social media giant Twitter has reportedly acquired a London-based startup company called Sphere that is known for their group chat app service. The team from Sphere will be joining Twitter and will work on various services within Twitter such as Communities, Direct Messages, and Creators initiatives.

It isn’t uncommon for public conversations on social media platforms to become heated, intense and toxic. To help reduce the chances of having a negative interaction, Twitter is testing a new prompt that will warn users of the possibility of the conversation to become heated or intense.
A couple of months ago, Twitter began testing a new feature called Tips that would allow users to directly send money to their favourite account. The company has now begun rolling out the feature to iOS users first, supporting multiple payment services and multiple types of currency, including crypto.
Twitter is testing yet another visual tweak to their mobile experience on iOS, where videos, photos and GIFs will now stretch from edge-to-edge on the display. The test comes nearly a month after Twitter introduced a number of visual changes on both its mobile and web platforms.
