Flipboard for Windows Phone that was released as private beta last month is now available for all the Windows Phone 8.1 users with at least 1GB of RAM. Flipboard for Windows Phone was announced last year, and it took more than year to release. The design is similar to other platforms, it lets you subscribe to different sources of curated content including social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Microsoft rebrands Bing apps as MSN, overhauls MSN website

Soon after announcing its latest Windows 10 operating system, Microsoft has rebranded Bing apps for Windows and Windows Phone. Apps like Travel, Weather, Finance, News, Health and Fitness will now have MSN instead of Bing before them.

Nokia HERE Maps for Android beta APK leaked, works on devices 4.0 and up

Earlier this month, it was reported that Nokia is planning to to launch a free maps app on Android and iOS by the end of 2014.  APK for the beta version of Android HERE maps was posted to Mediafire last week and was spotted by Spanish Android site El Android Libre.

Motorola FM Radio updated with Bluetooth listening, notification and lock screen controls

Motorola FM Radio 01.10

Motorola has updated its FM Radio app to version 01.10.0060 that brings support for Bluetooth listening when your Motorola smartphone is paired with a Bluetooth headset or a speaker. Since Motorola smartphones doesn’t come with an internal antenna for FM, your headset acts as the antenna for FM, so it must be plugged in even if you are listening to FM via Bluetooth. Once paired, you can press the cast button to play FM over Bluetooth.

BlackBerry Blend cross platform data sharing app announced

BlackBerry announced the high end smartphone Passport with square display yesterday. Along with the phone, the company also launched BlackBerry Blend, a new app the allows you to display content from your BlackBerry, such as conversations, calendars, files, contacts and more, on other screens such as computers and tablets.
