Facebook Messenger Lite for Android now available in India

Facebook launched Messenger Lite app for Android for emerging markets such as Kenya, Tunisia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Venezuela back in October last year. In April this year it was launched in 132 more countries including Germany, Colombia, Italy, Vietnam, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, Peru, Turkey, Japan, Taiwan and the Netherlands, but India was not in the list. Facebook starts rolling out ads in Messenger globally

Facebook has started rolling out ads for Messenger globally after testing ads for Australia and Thailand. The social network is now expanding beta test of home screen Messenger ads worldwide. Messenger ads will be targeted to specific users similar to those we see on Instagram and Facebook.
