HTC launched the Desire 516c smartphone, the Dual SIM (CDMA + GSM) variant of last year’s Desire 516 in India last month for Rs. 12,990. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 Processor with four ARM Cortex A7 cores clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and has Adreno 302 GPU. But the CPU-Z and other benchmark apps show that it has a Adreno 305 GPU. It has 1GB RAM, 5-inch (960 × 540 pixels) qHD screen and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS with Sense UI on top. Samsung has reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 LTE smartphones in India once again. The Galaxy S5 got a price cut to Rs. 37,500 few weeks back, now the smartphone is available from the Samsung India eStore for Rs. 34,900. The LTE version of the Galaxy S5 that got a price cut to Rs. 40,300 recently is now available for Rs.36,900. The Galaxy S5 was launched in April in India for Rs. 51,500 and its LTE version was launched in July for Rs. 53,500.
