Nokia N96 to be launched in October

Nokia has officially announced that it will launch the N96 in October in the UK.

The hi-tech handset is an upgrade to Nokia N95 dual slider, which has been very popular with buyers.

This super slick looking handset boasts of some amazing features as well.

• 240 x 320 pixel resolution
• 16 million colours
• 3.5mm earphone socket that doubles as TV out
• DVB-H TV broadcast support
• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth with A2DP support

• microSD external memory
• GPS
• 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with a Carl Zeiss lens and flash

Price:

Pegged at about Rs. 32,000 (£400), this handset is upmarket.

Nokia has not officially announced the Indian launch of the handset. Owing to our experience and the trend of Nokia to release handsets in India due to the fast growing market here, we should expect a December launch for this one.
