YouTube removed 7.8 million videos and 224 million comments in Q3 2018

Back in April, YouTube had launched a quarterly YouTube Community Guidelines Enforcement Report as part of this ongoing commitment to transparency. Further to the commitment, the company is now expanding the report to include additional data like channel removals, the number of comments removed, and the policy reason why a video or channel was removed.

YouTube has announced that it is rolling out YouTube Stories to all eligible creators with 10K+ subscribers. You can add text, music, filters, YouTube stickers, and more to make your story uniquely you.  To create a story, just open the YouTube mobile app, tap on the video camera icon, and select “Create Story.”

YouTube testing ‘Ad-pods’ two back-to-back ads so you can watch videos without interruption

YouTube has announced that it is planning on introducing two back-to-back skippable ads which it is calling “Ad-pods.” This will let you watch a longer video without interruptions. Currently, YouTube shows an ad at the start and while you’re in the middle of watching a video.
