OPPO introduced its entry-level A37 smartphone in China back in April. Now it has introduced the smartphone for global markets. It has a 5-inch HD screen with 2.5D arc edge glass, runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) with ColorOS 3.0, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, similar to the Chinese version, but this is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 SoC instead of octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor. 1,000-core processor ‘KiloCore’ can compute up to 1.78 trillion instructions per second

A team of scientists from the US have developed world’s first microchip that has 1,000 processors. Dubbed as ‘KiloCore’ the chip is said to be the fastest chip designed in a university lab. The chip has a maximum computation rate of 1.78 trillion instructions per second and contains 621 million transistors.
