In an attempt to push digital payment throughout the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an app named as ‘BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money)’ on Google Play Store, that aims to enable faster, easier and secure online payment through a smartphone. Developed by National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI), BHIM app has overtook all other popular apps including Whatsapp, Facebook, MyJio and topped Google Play Store. Google Play carrier billing officially launched for Airtel and Vodafone customers in India

Google Play had launched carrier billing for Idea customers in India in May last year. Now, it has expanded the service to Airtel as well as Vodafone. Carrier billing will now allow Airtel and Vodafone customers to pay for apps, games, and books on Google Play directly from their pre-paid or post-paid account. Vodafone launches 4G LTE services in Tamil Nadu starting from Coimbatore and Tiruppur

Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Coimbatore and Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu, and will roll out 4G services in all major towns and cities across the state by March 2017. It has already launched 4G services in Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Kolkata, Delhi & NCR, Mumbai, Haryana, UP East, Gujarat, West Bengal, Rajasthan and Assam & North East circles. LG G6 renders show non-modular design, could come in glossy and matte finishes

Earlier this week a render of the LG G6 that hinted at a design similar to that of LG G5, but without a modular design and ‘Friends’ modular accessories. Moto G4, Moto G4 Plus Android 7.0 Nougat update starts rolling out in India

After several soak tests since October, Moto has started rolling out Android 7.0 (Nougat) update for the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in India officially. This brings a new Moto action that lets you swipe to shrink the screen, and a new setting to disable and enable locking the screen when the screen is on and you touch the fingerprint sensor (for Moto G4 Plus).
