Now it has introduced a new Slim Folio keyboard case for the latest 9.7-inch iPad (5th generation) that uses two replaceable coin batteries, instead of the usual rechargeable lithium-ion cells found in other keyboard. OnePlus has started rolling out new OxygenOS open betas (Beta 6 for OnePlus 3T and Beta 15 for OnePlus 3) for the 3 and 3T phones that brings several new features such as New dialer and incoming call interface, UI optimizations for Messages, Settings and Contacts, New action bar for Messages and Settings and a lot of bug fixes and general improvements. Google has released Android distribution numbers for the month of May. Android Nougat adoption is increasing steadily and has now reached to 7.1%, up from 4.9% last month. Nougat 7.0 is present on 6.6% of Android devices while 0.5% have Android 7.1 installed.

Huawei smartphones with model numbers PIC-AL00, PIC-TL00, BAC-AL00 and BAC-TL00 have been certified by TENAA in China. These are expected to be Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus, successors of Nova and Nova Plus smartphones that were unveiled last year. The image shows the phones in Rose Gold colors with 2.5D curved glass display, unibody metal design, dual rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Smartron just launched srt.phone, the company’s latest smartphone at an event. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display with Corning Gorilla 3 protection, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor and runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat). The company promises upgrade to upcoming Android O as well as fastest software updates and security patches. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) and a 5MP front-facing camera. Apple has reported quarterly revenue of $52.9 billion with a net profit of $11.0 billion in their earnings for the financial year Q2 2017 that ended April 1, 2017. Revenues were up 4.54% year-over-year. Apple reported quarterly earnings per diluted share of $2.10 compared to diluted share of $1.90 in the year-ago quarter. During earnings call Tim Cook said that iPhone sales were line in line with their expectations, and they are seeing continued strong demand for iPhone 7 Plus. He also said that active installed base of iPhones grew by double digits year over year.

YouTube has unveiled a new look for its desktop client that boasts of several Material Design features. The company has now started rolling out preview of the revamped site for its users.
